@@3X73RM Bob did that painting in 20 minutes or so (the length of an episode). I believe this took Evan And Katelyn quite longer time. Also, they are "rather handy" and artistic in other fields. But I was surprised how good the paintings turned out, even if I am sure a side by side comparison with the Bob Ross painting might not be as favourable.

I really really like the newer goofy content and editing style. It’s so funny yet I always feel like I’ve learned something the whole time I’m watching. I’ve had an interest in art all my life and I have learned that most of the time with realism especially in painting you’re not actually making the things one-for-one but you’re just trying to give an impression of the thing. I have seen artists who do things one-for-one and it’s very impressive but they’re always working with a massive canvas to accommodate all those details. The smaller you get the more muddled the details get so it becomes more realistic to just opt out of them.

Dawn dish soap works so good with getting oil paint out, I got it on some pants that I have and I just straight up scrubbed the life out of it and it came out, nothing left not even a tint of red, I also use it to wash my brushes cause I don’t have paint thinner, it works really well, so for anyone who doesn’t have paint thinner, dawn dish soap is great
