@superraedizzle I lived in Bob Ross’ neighborhood when I was growing up. Every year for Halloween he gave out art supplies and headshots for anyone who wanted them. He rescued all the animals in the neighborhood. If you found an animal in trouble you brought them to Bob and he would gladly take care of them. He was so lovely just as lovely as you’d imagine from his tutorials.

Or at least rarely obtain the public platform/popularity that he did/still has. 😕😕🤷🏻‍♀️ But...just imagine IF THEY DID!!🤨🤔🤨 As consumers of a video based social media platform WE THE VIEWERS have the POSSIBILITY/ABILITY to discover such people & shine not just the US national spot light on them...but the spotlight of the ENTIRE WORLD! So please be sure to support those creators you not only enjoy watching but whom you believe could BRING POSITIVE CHANGE/INFLUENCE TO THE WORLD!! Goodness knows the world needs it right now...ESPECIALLY with such events as this virus occurring!😕😕😞😞 And PLEASE consider OTHERS before committing to your actions. What may seem like a small action/inaction on your part COULD have far reaching effects you may never know about. 💕💕 For example...I have a chronic illness which has caused 4 collapsed lungs & thus the removal of 1/4th of each lung. I get on just fine...normally...& you would never know by just looking at me I had such issues. However...just the NORMAL flu can be deadly dangerous for me & many like me. MUCH LESS the current virus causing such panic around the world. If the relatively HEALTHY people I’m FORCED/REQUIRED to interact with...the people those individuals interact with...etc...ALL take the recommended precautions & DONT just IGNORE such precautions just because they believe even getting the virus WONT KILL *THEM* ... then that would mean ME & THOSE LIKE ME have a FAR LESS CHANCE of getting this virus & THUS a far less chance OF DEATH. So...by just washing your hands, staying home unless you HAVE to go out, obeying the instructions given, etc...you could LITERALLY SAVE THOUSANDS of lives. How is that for positively impacting other’s lives?🤨🤷🏻‍♀️ IN ADDITION to saving people like me’s life you will be preventing the millions of such people’s loved ones from the grief/sorrow of losing someone they love. I know some will claim that’s being “overly dramatic or paranoid” but if you actually take a few minutes to think it thru & consider it...you should see that ITS NOT just being “dramatic/paranoid”. And for those who suggest people like me & the elderly “just stay home”...we STILL HAVE to interact with our husbands/wives/kids/etc who go out in public. As well as those who either bring us the necessities to survive OR for those of us who live outside groceries store/pharmacy delivery area who thus HAVE to venture out to such places ourselves/have others do it for us. And now even Amazon/Walmart.com/etc are selling out of necessities. So...hopefully you CAN SEE HOW even just your own simple actions/inactions potentially COULD GREATLY IMPACT those of us FAR BEYOND your own family/social circle. 🤷🏻‍♀️ And that’s JUST ONE easy example! Each of our daily activities/behaviors can GREATLY IMOACT a very LARGE NUMBER of other people. And with social media...that impact is MUCH MUCH FASTER & INFINITELY LARGER than in years past...much less decades past! Such as the decades Bob was actually alive & on the air. *Just imagine* the impact Bob would have if he had been alive during the rapid growth of social media into now!🤨🤔😳 His impact would’ve been so much greater it boggles the mind..🤯😲🤯...had he been able to harness the tools of KZbin, Instagram, live streams, etc! And just imagine the impact on the art community had he harnesses the impact of things like SkillShare!😳🤯😳 It truly boggles the mind...and IF you stop to consider it...it shows JUST HOW MASSIVE the impact of ONE PERSON COULD be now days! Or imagine the social movements of the 60s with the aid of social media SOLELY to recruit & organize the actions of/for such movements! I don’t think people FULLY GRASP the impact they themselves alone can have NOR the potential impact social media can/does have on our world today. However I truly believe that THIS virus will cause MORE AVERAGE PEOPLE to realize what is possible via social media/the internet/technology! Students from K thru doctorate programs are being taught..NOT just with recordings of a teacher teaching...but as a designated time, with LIVE & INTERACTIVE video feeds...JUST LIKE if they were actually IN CLASS in person. Yes...many students currently in/recently graduated..already know all of that. But NOW parents of kids K-12 as well as grandparents & older caregivers will realize this potential too. Not to mention the ability to have dr appts over the phone, via text over phone/computer & via LIVE VIDEO over smartphones/tablets/computers! Something MANY haven’t realized was truly possible...at least UNTIL NOW.😳🤯😳

OMG Rae, You are wonderful! I follow you for about 1 year now and i love your video's! I laughed so hard about this one! And i am sick, it hurts when i'm laughing! I think we (everybody does) are waiting for the moment Bob is gonna start cleaning his brush "beat the devil out of it" When i was (Young) in the 90ties he was already so populair overhere (i am Dutch) living in the Netherlands. I was on highschool when he was on tv , so every time when we had art-classes everybody did the Bob Ross brush cleaning ritual! You are great Rae! I am in isolation because of corona, i want to paint or draw something but i have no power to even pick up a pencil! Respect how you can draw with alcohol-markers. I've tried them but It's not my thing i am better with waterbrush and pencil! Keep on going making these wonderful vids! This really makes me feel a bit better. Laughing is good! Sorry for my bad English and grammatical failures, with fever and feeling like an elephant is sitting on my brest is writing something in my own language a hardtime! Stay Safe and Healthy!!! XX

I remember watching my mom paint along with Bob Ross when I was a kid (back when it was live on PBS, no pausing, no rewinding in those days) and thinking what a wonderful artist my mom was. For some reason she stopped painting and has never started again. I have seen a revival of Bob Ross videos on several different channels on YT. Your "painting" came out beautifully.
