This band always had a good sense of humor... check out "Learn To Fly", where they play multiple characters on an airline flight. Tenacious D is also in the video and both groups have no fear on how they present.

I remember David Grohl saying he stole the drummer from Alanis Morissette... He was a fantastic drummer. Will be remembered. Thanks for the reaction Biz

Saw them yesterday live and they were great!!! Dave did the drumming for this track. Taylor joined the band right after the album was recorded and passed away a couple of years ago.

The Foo's first 3 albums are some of my favorite tunes of all time. Dave wrote and recorded everything on the first album, wrote everything and played most of the instruments while on the second album while hiring the rest of the band. Check out I'll Stick Around from the first Foo Fighters album, I heard a rumor that Dave wrote it about Courtney Love.

Dave Grohl started Foo Fighters as a solo project in 1994 by recording the debut album playing drums, bass, guitar and the vocals... He needed a band to tour and promote the album in 1995 and hired Nirvana's touring guitarist Pat Smear... and former members of the indie band Sunny Day Real Estate - Nate Mendel (bass) and William Goldsmith (drums) w/ Dave Grohl on guitar & vocals. The first album was a success selling gold, then platinum by 1996... When Grohl began recording the 2nd Foo Fighters album 'The color and the shape' in 1997, he wasn't happy w/ Goldsmith's drumming and re-recorded most of the drums on the album... William Goldsmith quit the band after he found out... For the tour, Foo Fighters hired Taylor Hawkins (drums) and he became close friends w/ Dave Grohl... Guitarist Pat Smear left during the tour in 1997/ '98... Foo Fighters recorded their 3rd album 'There is nothing left to lose' in 1999 as a trio and it became their biggest record to that point, selling platinum w/ hits like - 'Learn to fly' ... 'Breakout'... Chris Shifflet (guitar) joined Foo Fighters in 1999. After a delay, Foo Fighters finally released their 4th album 'One by one' in 2002... and it became a platinum success w/ hits like - 'All my life' ... 'Times like these'. Foo Fighters grew bigger w/ every album and even recorded a double CD in 2005 'In your honor'... one disc of rock songs and another disc of acoustic songs... They even released a live acoustic album 'Skin and bones' in 2006. 'The Pretender'... was the big single from their 2007 album 'Echoes, silence, patience and grace'... Their next album 'Wasting Light' in 2011 became their first #1 charting album in the US. Over the next decade, Foo Fighters played bigger shows and headlined stadiums after the album 'Concrete and gold' in 2017. In 2021, Foo Fighters opted to release an album that sounded like an 80's pop rock record and that became 'Medicine at midnight' ... the single 'Shame shame'... was another hit. However, tragedy struck Foo Fighters in 2022 when Taylor Hawkins (drums) was found dead on the South American tour from an apparent drug OD... Foo Fighters recorded the album 'But here we are' in 2023... and veteran drummer Josh Freese was announced as the newest band member.

Taylor passing away was so sad! Still is. He was such a cool guy with a great sense of humour, hilarious, in fact. He’s definitely missed. 💔🥁

'Times Like These', is a must. I love the original full band electric studio version with the official video. Here ya go, wth?! Loved playing this acoustically on the street, in the subway, but especially with the last classic rock band I played in. 💥 😊🤙🏼🎶🔥❤️🍁❤️✨️🕊⬇️ kzbin.info/www/bejne/qJndnoGIqa6jbs0si=AL0LPNgTgKSHJRIT

Still here Biz, so sorry I can't comment like I used to, but just know that I ALWAYS give a "like" on your vids.😊 Anyway, I'm so happy that you checked out another Foo Fighters song BUT... this vid is freaking whack!! lol!! I didn't care for it back then and still don't. While the vid shows their playful/silly side... it takes away from the meaning of the song... The lyrics were written by Dave, an absolute legend and good human being. He's all heart and talented AF! A gift to us all. 🙏PLEASE do yourself a favor (even if on your own time) and watch the live performance of "Everlong" at Wembley Stadium 2008... that's where you'll see the true magic of The Foo and Dave Grohl!!! Trust me... you NEED to see it live!!! This music vid doesn't do it justice! Anyway, great reaction as always!! You're the best!!!😎❤ Peace and light...💞
