This was life changing for me, I had a high level to wheat and eggs. I suffered from body ache, sever migraines and dizziness for years. Once I saw a nutritionist and they suggested doing a sensitivity test it changes my life. My sever migraine just stopped my body ache stopped. I wish I would have had this test done as a kid. I had a sad child hood with all the head aches I had, I thought I had a learning disability because it was so hard to read because of my headaches.

Last year I found out that I have high sensitivities to sugar, dairy, parmesan cheese, and corn. Thankfully Im vegan and the last time I had an egg I actually broke out on my face and I had eczema. So I notcied a major difference since I stopped dealing with dairy. I stay away from corn, and with sugar I watch how much I eat of it.

I have a sensitivity to sugar and have since cut out all refined sugars from my diet. I have noticed a world of difference, I don’t experience any brain fog or fatigue and my eczema patch on my arm has cleared up as well as the tingly rashes on my face. I also avoid any processed/fast food. Your videos have really helped me make healthier lifestyle choices since, thank you Mona xx

The low reactive foods are foods that are fine, they have a green dot next to them, so don't worry about them. I have done the Food Sensitivity Test as well as the Expansion test, it has been so eye opening for me! I am healing from several autoimmune diseases and was eating foods that I'm highly reactive, moderately reactive and mildly reactive to everyday several times a day!! I decided to cut out all the reactive foods except for the low reactive as those are fine for me and wow, huge difference, my red, splotchy, acne skin cleared up and is healthy, my energy levels are so much better, weight is coming off a little faster and my body is healing faster as well!!! Guess what the only 2 foods that I am highly reactive to are...brewers yeast and bakers yeast!!! I was eating gf bread thinking I was helping my body and it was slightly better because I am mildly reactive to gluten as well. I am so, so glad I had these food tests done!!!

When I heard that you were really big on testing, I subscribed immediately. I've been trying to find resources because I feel like this is such an underrated aspect of health in general, and nobody knows what tests to get or what to look for and so they're just basically doing things blindly based on how they feel.

I did the test and when I actually follow it I notice a huge change. It’s kinda sad that people are so controversial with this type of testing that they don’t even acknowledge it in the medical world.
@Jane-yg3vz
@Jane-yg3vz 4 жыл бұрын
There's a reason why medical professionals don't acknowledge these test; they are pseudoscience. Any science minded professional will know these tests are a scam and aren't testing for food "sensitivities", whatever that means, but are just showing you what foods you have been eating. The results of these tests leads to people having very restrictive diets and malnutrition.

KJ Always hey!! Of course. So I am still vegan and gluten free. If I eat gluten it’s still a severe reaction in terms of my stomach, skin and headaches. It’s awful. But I am now able to eat avocados, cauliflower, chickpeas etc after coming off the low FODMAP diet as long as it’s in small doses. I have everything under control way better now. Digestive enzymes are a must when I’m eating out and about to eat a lot of carbs to help keep the SIBO at bay. But I have not had another episode since my first diagnosis 💕

Ever since this year i have had veryyyyyy painful and uncomfortable abdominal pain every so often. It would stress me out and I’d become super pale,dizzy, and nauseous I would literally just squat down no matter where I was and it was so awful. I wasn’t sure what it was causing. About 20 minutes after I felt like I was going to faint i felt perfectly fine. It was so weird. I also forgot to mention that this abdominal pain would last anywhere from 7 to 14 hours and get worse as the hour went by. Yesterday I experienced this and I threw up for the first time when having this reaction. I threw up a couple of times. I Remembered having a bunch of jalapeño chips the day before and day of. I’m thinking that I have food intolerance to jalapeños so I’m going to avoid them but I’m not sure. I just really need this to stop😂

So when I eat certain foods right away I get a migraine , stomach hurts , weight gain , bloating , running nose , constipations, fatigue , irritable , and so on . I react pretty fast . There are some foods I actually get where my throat starts feeling like it’s wanting to close and I start getting build up in my throat where I start coughing and try to clear my throat . I took an allergy test at my doctors, and it showed I wasn’t allergic to much. I had to take away lots of foods and started feeling better , lost 30 lbs as well . Started bringing more foods back and now I have soo many stomach issues again 😕. Not sure what to do , weight starting to come back and headaches , bloating , no energy ! I bought a food sensitivity test but now I hear they are not accurate and some doctors try to say this doesn’t exist wth !! It’s not a mental thing , I was find them started getting sick , got to the point where I couldn’t eat anything . Doctor wanted to take all these test costing me over $400 . Before I did this I took out all food and only ate a few foods. Started feeling sooo much better ! So definitely something there just hard to know what foods to stay alway from .

The amount of misinformation in this video is sickening. The elimination diet is the only way to check whether an individual has food sensitivities. Food sensitivity tests do not have any scientific evidence to prove that they work. They are not like allergy tests, which are a legitimate way to check for allergies. Also, the way you described the elimination diet is completely wrong. It is not eating a specific food item for a whole day and taking note of any symptoms... It is based on eliminating specific foods for about 4 to 6 weeks. These foods are then slowly reintroduced into one's diet, one food at a time, and the food is consumed alongside other food products for a few days to see if there's any difference in symptoms. I don't appreciate the fact that you call yourself a doctor and spread misinformation about topics you know nothing about. The fact that you are a doctor gives your audience a feeling of false security. They believe in everything you say because you are a doctor. All for you to get money from this sponsorship... It's shameful. I am saying all of this as a nutrition and dietetics student. I may not have my degree yet, but at least I don't spread misinformation. Please delete this video if you care about your audience.

Here is my tip for those who are having a hard time getting enough blood samples as the test I ordered had 10 circles. Follow the directions but before lancing your finger.. Get a thin rubber band and loop it around the base of your finger several times so that it is tight and the finger starts to swell up a little bit.. I'm talking like a couple minutes at the most. Then lance the finger, there should be little to no blood that comes out.. Then.... lance the finger again in a spot right next to the first one. Take the rubber band off and the blood will start to drip out of your finger pretty good.. I was able to fill all circles no problem..

I was obese or morbidly obese from puberty until my early 50s when I lost 170ish-lbs over a decade, but I went from 250 to 150 in my early 50s. I had PCOS. I believe you dont have it after menopause. Anyway. Im, weightwise, as low as the doctors want me to go, but I've got a HUGE upper abdomen! I wear size 4 jeans and an extra large top. I am I 36DDD, but you can't hardly tell because of this huge ring of fat just below my breasts! I finally am somewhat thin, but still have to dress how I was at 300lbs! My upper abdomen is 4 inches bigger than my hips!!!! My thighs are 15" at the widest part! I'm the incredible upside down triangle!! Could food sensitivities be the culprit? I know, being so insulin resistant for decades caused my body to redistribute the fat, but!! A tiny bit more. I've got end-stage Ankylosing Spondylitis, Psoriatic Arthritis, Sjogrens Syndrome, and raynaulds phenomenon. The Ankylosing Spondylitis is my primary disease. I was misdiagnosed for almost 30 years. I've fused from T12-C1 and my head is fused in a prayer like position. I've also fused in both SI joints. Which is expected, since that's typically where AS shows its first symptoms. Thanks in advance for anyone with good info! 🙂🙃

Please note some foods you eat on a regular basis and you are allergic to, by cause a chronic low grade inflammation that you may not notice. The best thing to do is eliminate the food for a couple of weeks, and reintroduce and see if you get a violent response. One time I eliminated corn and all derivative corn products for several months. By accident, I ate some corn product in an energy bar, and I had golf ball size welts on the bottom of my feet.

Food intolerance and food sensitivity are different things. The words “allergy” and “intolerance” each have a specific and unique medical definition, whereas “food sensitivity” does not. It is not possible to take a food sensitivity test and know what foods you are intolerant… or even allergic to. There is no scientific evidence that supports the use of IgG as a marker for sensitivity, only as a marker for exposure. As a PharmD, this may not be her area of expertise. I would recommend finding resources from allergists, approved by allergists or supported by clinical research.

Why are you giving out false information about testing food sensitivity? These test have been know to be not because unlike a Allergy test which looks for IgG and or IgE. We know that these lab works more often then not are harmful surrounding the false negatives they often provide in fact not one lab has been deemed accurate on their resaults which is why many doctors are coming forward about food allergy testing, now if food allergy tests are looked down on with no reliable evidence suggesting they even work... Imagine a food sensitivity lab work test.

So doctors and Medicaid and an allergenist won't cover this test at all?
@magdalena3149
@magdalena3149 5 жыл бұрын
They don't because food sensitivity tests haven't been scientifically proven to work. The only way to check for food sensitivities is to do an elimination diet. I don't understand why someone who claims to be a doctor is doing a sponsorship with this company, she's spreading so much misinformation, all to get that sponsorship money. Also, her definition of an elimination diet is completely wrong. I am saying this as a student of nutrition and dietetics. Please don't buy any of these tests and instead see a registered dietician or and/or a gastroenterologist, who have a lot of knowledge about food sensitivities and will guide you in the right direction.

If you search for food sensitivity test on YT the second video will tell you that it's a scam and name the business. Surely enough the first video is talking about the said business scam by a Dr. who's btw sponsored by them. Sad.
