Wow I'm impressed-kale limeade-love it!😊💞 I have a friend from Bosnia and her family uses the red onion peels to die their Easter eggs. She takes leaves and wets them, then presses them on the egg and puts a tight stocking over them and then puts in the soaked onion peel water. They are so beautiful!

Idk if there's any truth to it but my mom always said not to leave food in the can after opening because the metal will seep into the food especially acidic stuff like tomato sauce for example. Something about the metal breaking down when that vaccum seal is broken and its exposed to air

My mom taught me this as well.

For sure and especially with pineapple in cans they taste like tin overnight so put leftovers in a glas jar. If you dont have enough of the liquid it came in, top of with water so no air touches the fruit if vegies! Stays fresh longer in the fridge

Side question. How is the bottom of your pan holding up? I’ve seen the horror reviews where the pans are known to chip and stain. From what we see yours is literally in mint condition. I’ve really been eying this set 😩😍
@abetweene3 жыл бұрын
yes, the bottom does have burn marks & theres some loss of color on the rounded grip because I normally lean it on surfaces when I’m scooping my food onto my plate. the sides are fine, but i do have some wear on the cooking surface itself. i may post a full review on it.

Hi I know I’m rlly late but I tried making lollipops once and they wouldn’t set (just runny sugar). Now when i tried to make sugar wax, it turned into caramel. 😂 how long should i keep the sugar on the stove for? Bc when I made the lollipops I waited for The sugar to start bubbling I mixed it for about five more minutes and I turned off the heat. This time I waited for a really long time but it was just because I wasn’t getting enough colour by the time you were already done my sugar head only started turning colour (very faint) so I don’t know why but I decided to continue cooking it and eventually the bubbles went away it self, and the sugar started to burn but I kept on mixing it and when I tried the trick where you pour it into cold water it completely went solid and turned into caramel! :c pls help how long do u cook it?
@abetweene3 жыл бұрын
to make lollipops your sugar needs to reach Hard Crack Stage. that is generally around 300°F (plus or minus a few degrees based on your altitude). Sugar wax can be made to varying consistencies however. More on that in this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/opa8inejecmiepo
