I love OmegaMart! And your theory about there being space behind the source door is actually spot on. I’ve spent 16+ hours at the exhibit, and found the other hidden codes to use on the source door. After finding one of them, the OmegaMart employee actually told me that the door can open, but no one has found the secret code to do so yet. Once it’s found, then the exhibit will be expanded

Because of your first video about Omega Mart I had to go. We actually spent 2 days there digging through Area 15. Then late on day 2 we went through the 3D exhibit, and I kept my glasses on after getting back into the main hall, and stuff was 3D everywhere. Didn’t go back into the store with the 3D glasses on, but it might make a difference. Especially in the garage or the factory.

For matpat's information: there actually (as far as I know) are more omegamarts in this storyline. There is one in Denver which is located inside of a pre-existing attraction. It is a small area that fits two to three people at a time, but it does have lots of omegamart products and resembles on a basic level, the omegamart at area 15

@@mrsoisauce9017 yes, they were made by the OG founders of Meow Wolf. One opened to the public as a joke/ tester to see if people would react the way they wanted to the products. The 2nd one opened shortly as a more of a tester. Eventually, the Omegamart we have in Vegas is the official “first” one. In the back we have several concept art from the OG founders. Also, whale song and cherry blitz are the first products made for OmegaMart as well 😄

My little sister (when she was "of the appropriate age) made up a doll-house display with doll furniture crafted by our grandfather, (who was a retired furniture craftsman, among other things, so the display looked hyper-realistic, had recycling running water and everything) and she did up a whole bunch of those "grocery-store" items that you'd find in a kitchen, only with farcical, imperfect, not-quite copycatted, humorous containers in the cupboards too. You could even take them out and read what they said as well, all sides. She even taped on images she'd "altered" to boot. It was quite the masterpiece at the time. She was also ruthlessly inventive with the names of the items therein. Cheerios became Firey-Os, Pop Tarts became Popped Tarts (prostitutes), Corn Pops became Corns (from your feet)Popped, etc. Some of them were pretty gruesome, and her imagination and wit only became sharper and more wickedly refined as she grew up too. 😈 🥶🥶🥶

And the next is three feet so. There's a hidden room between them." Without know, really well, how good the equipment is, it would be hard to know where discrepancies are. The ol' "heel-to-toe" walking method is antiquated and cumbersome, but it's reliable most of the time.

So after watching your first video, I went to vegas to check this out for myself in September. And two things happened while I was there that I don't know if it's canonical or not but I thought i'd share it. One of the employees said that Walter was the person you can see stretched across those La Croiux knock off cases in the store. But when I asked another employee about it, they pretended not to know what i was talking about. The other interesting thing, was I asked another employee about the message from Walter in the laser room (where you have to block a certain amount of lasers to stop the music and hear a message from the source) and she said that the installation in Denver that just opened up continues that storyline but they haven't implemented it here (Vegas). I don't have the means to follow that up right meow, but I wanted to share those random, and out of character responses with you Theorists.

Plus all the “locked” corporate doors I noticed The sensors on them and tried my card, but denied. Then an employee told me I would need to get promoted , so something there? Also I swear there is more To the mirror room with the employee watching over you . Lastly it is fun to talk to the employees ! We we’re in the village and at one point the projection has figures with their arms up, an employee started doing it and soon after so dis everyone in the area. Frankenstein was written in 1818 and we're still writing stories that treat the original source material as if it were real. Sherlock Holmes was created in 1887 and there have been countless stories written involving him (including Star Trek depicting people writing and playing through new stories about him in the 24th century). It's very likely super-powered beings like Superman and Wonder Woman will be facets of society for a long time as well. And, to be blunt, between the figurines and the language we use to describe fans, and the language used to describe the characters, someone without context might mistakenly believe they were religious figures. So it's not impossible that the jackal headed character was someone's art project that people wrote stories about for over a thousand years. Unlikely, but not impossible.

Oh hey, Meow Wolf! Been a while since I last heard of them, back in like 2018. I really enjoyed their exhibit in Santa Fe, and I'm glad to see they're still going strong! Super cool to see they made Omega Mart, too. Fun fact: my own dad was originally gonna be a project manager for Meow Wolf if plans went through back then! To think I might have been able to have a part in assisting with Omega Mart's lore is something crazy I would have never expected.

I’m not good at explaining things, but basically people with a special “gift” can manipulate soundwaves. Someone tried to use a kid to do something and it screwed up the house.

@@L16htW4rr10r So, from what I know of the 3 latest Meow Wolf installations (House of Eternal Return, Omega Mart, and Convergence Station), the concept of interdimensional portals (along with their use, their origins, their purpose, etc.) are important to each location's lore and story. The Carpetbagger here on YT has been to HoER twice (at least) and made videos about each visit. From what I have gathered, the family in the house in question were all sensitive to/tuned into portals in some way. (I'm about to do bedtime routine with my kids, so I don't have the bandwidth to go into more detail.) Omega Mart seemingly has portals to various parts of a specific planet in a specific dimension. Convergence Station (the installation I know the least about) seems to be a literal hub where several portals. . .well, converge. So, think Stargates that lead to different places all within each other's vicinity. My hypothesis is there are various ways to create portals. . .and various ways to access them. Certain people are born with these abilities naturally, while some are born with these abilities due to Source exposure in-uetero, and still others gain these abilities through consuming massive amounts of Additive-S that has been enhanced with Human Element. Now, as I said, that's just my guess. Once I can actually GO to all these installations and compile as much information from each as I possibly can, my hypothesis may change. We'll see.

In case it's of any help, there is technically something of a fourth Meow Wolf location. Elitch Gardens theme park in Denver (practically a stone's throw away from Convergence Station) has a dark ride there called Meow Wolf Kaleidoscape. The ride appears to be a sensory overload of fantastical art, but Meow Wolf has said it serves as a prequel to Convergence Station.

I was just there this past weekend. YES! Everything on the shelves in the store can be purchased. The cereal boxes definitely contained cereal inside them, and all the food products are legit edible products with interesting packaging. I was genuinely surprised, and impressed by the level of detail put into the mart alone. We stayed in there for about 2hrs and I barely scratched the surface of the lore going on...it was really easy to just get lost in the sights and sounds and forget about the meaning behind everything. I highly recommend checking this place out.. as well as the rest of the Area 15 place!!

I was excited to buy the "oh those" after picking up the other filled cereal boxes because it looked like a fun generic brand quality chocolate flavored lucky charms but it was just an empty cardboard box. On the other hand i wanted to buy the "plausible deniability" detergent bottle for my mom who is obsessed with all things laundry but was irritated to discover that there was real soap inside. I wouldn't have a problem with that but (1) i'm not lugging home a giant heavy bottle of detergent in my luggage from my vegas trip just for a cool label sticker and (2) speaking of the label, there was an issue with every. single. bottle. the soap was leaking out the top of some and saturating the sticker ink discoloring it or the adhesive on the rest was so old and gross and discolored the label. like it was obviously these bottles have been there a looooooong time with very few purchases being made. I really was looking forward to buying all the fun empty packages of household products or real food products but ended up with no more than an enamel pin.

I've been to Convergence Station a few times now and one detail that made me realize that all the exhibits are connected in some way is that there's a small shop on C Street that's dedicated to Omega Mart products. This might be unrelated but they also sell merch from all three exhibits in the gift shop which is pretty cool!

My brain is literally about to explode!! While watching The Carpetbagger videos about Meow Wolf and Omega Mart I simply thought it was a fun and strange place to visit. I never thought it could contain so much fun and exciting lore!! This is absolutely amazing and I'm so glad something like this exist. Sadly, at my age, I don't have any friends that would be as excited as me and would want to spend 8 hours in Omega Mart to discover all the lore with me (Never lose your inner child). Funny that you mentioned the expansion bit. Convergence Station is in its own 5 story building, with floor 2 currently Employees only. There will DEFINITELY be space for them to expand.
