He was fantastic! That is real life! Please add another week of addiction. This is so helpful. I really need to hear more about food addiction from real people! Not a doctor who has never been fat. Doctors are good intermittently. You know!

First do no harm to self or others has a corollary. Those who self harm necessarily harm others because we are all connected. It’s very inspirational to hear a story like this which demonstrates that we can be way out on the edge and still be able to choose to come back.

Hey Tim, I would have thought you were "too far gone" too. Hearing your comeback is almost unbelievable. Just amazing the power of plants, exercise, and the love of family. Thank you, so so inspirational. Two points I loved in Tim's talk: If you rationalize your problem, that can be a sign of addiction--and 2. We never recover but we're in rocovery our whole lives.

Exercise is an addiction when it becomes an obsession and when you disregard the negative effects it has on your body. I’m not an expert but I know people who are exercise addicts and it’s not health that motivates them, it’s fear.

What an incredible story, Tim. I lost count of how many times I got emotional listening to it, but I'm so glad you chose life. Sometimes all it takes is the right person to deliver the right word to change your (my) mind, and you just did that for me. Thank you for the many messages (I received) that were embedded in your story. Thanks Chef AJ for having Tim on your channel.

Who was in charge of his pain management? Whoever that was, they should be behind bars. My eyes nearly popped out and rolled off my desk hearing how much unnecessary narcotics were introduced to his system. Fentanyl is already 80-100 times more potent than Morphine; he was already at the top of the mountain with that narcotic, so any painkiller they administered in addition to that would be absolutely useless. I am so sorry you were mislead and treated this way, but I'm so glad you've made your way out of that Hell.

Tim, your story is so inspirational to me! I connect so well with the ease of making excuses for not suceeding. I I do it more often than I should, then kick myself the next day for being in the same spot as I was the day before. Again...your story inspires me to get on the right track. Thank you!🙂

I admit I have no power over doughnuts. I am resigned to just always having to limit their access to me. Which is really limiting certain people’s access to me and certain social services and events access to me. Which means I have to seek out more appropriate and supportive social situations. Which is good for me. So doughnuts (and cupcakes, cookies, pastries) give me important information about social opportunities and encourage me to choose wisely.

I couldn't walk a marathon if someone was chasing me with a flaming pitchfork. He says he never saw a fat deer, etc. but Elephants, Rhinos, Hippos, Cows, etc. are all eating plant based diets. How much of his spine damage happened as a result of him doing ultra marathons and stuff like that?

Those animals came to be from our Creator in those sizes. They didn't become fat or large animals from over eating or being addicted to food. Perhaps you're trying to find a home in his story to excuse your behavior or lack of? You can get on a good path once you dont self sabotage 💙
