If you follow the Lazy Ballerina Club instagram then you already have the details...but I thought I would vlog my foot surgery!! I had to get a cyst removed off of my fooot and it ended up being a bigger foot surgery than I planned. I take you behind the scenes of my prep before surgery and update you after the WORST NIGHT OF SLEEP/worst pain of my life after foot surgery. It has been quite the recovery process but I hope you enjoy todays foot surgery vlog!!!

I had two ankle surgeries last year (os trig & accessory navicular removals on both feet) and had the same painful experience after my second surgery!! The nerve block wore off, the painkillers didn’t help at all, and it felt like all the bones in my entire leg up to my hip had been boiled in acid. Props to you for getting through that!! And for taking the step to go through surgery. It’s intimidating but so worth it

I was a dancer since I was 4 years old I’m now 21 when I was in high school doing dance team I ended up tearing a muscle and the bridge of my foot fell I had to have 3 surgeries to correct these and there were so many post surgery complications for months and months I was in so much pain the last time I danced was teaching a camp for my dance studio I miss it so much but o can’t dance anymore because of the post surgery issues I miss it so much but I’m so happy I got to dance for 16 years

i just got foot surgery May 4th. I broke 3 bones and one of them the ligament pulled a piece of bone off. It was the lisfranc ligament. i thought my recovery time was going to be over a year because thats what everything i read about it said. I luckily had a really good surgeon and he did a tightrope arthrex wich is a less complicated hardware and doesnt have to be removed later that still gives me a good range of motion. i have 3-6 months before i can go bcak to dance and gymnastics and at this point still have 2-3 weeks no weight bearing. Hope everything went well with you and you have a good recovery!

I myself am suffering from a cavus foot or otherwise known as high arched foot, and I’m slowly starting to concider a foot surgery to get that fixed. I’m going to physiotherapist next month ✌🏻
