Footwork is so important! My Sensei teaches us footwork very similar to this. Good info!

Great vid! I picked up more useful moves and a better understanding of them in the first two minutes than a year and half in TKD. Thank you! 😊

after that elbow and cover-> inside wrap , shoulder lock , full circle takedown , 3 knees whilst restraining hand then arm bar. Only thing i find confusing in jkd grappling is the single leg knee rolling takedown to submission read it in a book... its like after he catches the first leg he transition to the second leg and rolls that one ???

Yes, that is the correct follow up even up to the three knees and armbar! I think I know what you mean about the single leg roll. Do you mean he the one he locks the lead foot behind the heel and you ben your knee forward to take him down by doing a kind of knee bar takedown with your leg you trapped him with? Or is this one off catching a kicks and rolling the knee?

@@SifuNate i thinks its first one you mentioned. After he does like knee bars , fingerfours locks and so on. Book was written by Dan Inosanto and Larry Hartsell. The technique whent something like a inside split entry and gunting strike follow up and then catching first leg then transition to other leg for a knee roll takedown. Transitioning is the confusing part...

Will do, maybe that is a good one to add on when talking about wrestling footwork.
