@@aaronlarsen8412 well yea, but it kinda does this has a power to weight of 0.52hp/kg A Yamaha R1 has 0.81hp/kg the Yamaha has 162hp... and costs about 10k... and the reason it's only got a 0-60 of 2.64 seconds is because otherwise it would do a wheelie and flip.. and it did the 1/4 mile in 9.83s, compared to the Lucid's 9.1s Yes the Lucid is quicker, but is it 240k quicker? and even though motorbikes are beat by sports cars in cornering, EVs are known for awful cornering, so a bike could likely get a faster lap, even with worse acceleration. Just checked nurburgring lap times, the Lucid hasn't got any recorded times yet, but to compare the R1 to other EVs Rimac Nevera: 0.82hp/kg 7:05 lap R1: 0.81hp/kg 7:10 lap Tesla S Plaid: 0.39hp/hp 7:36 lap keep in mind, with rider the bike has ~0.58hp/kg with a 80kg rider. So it's true, EVs do corner like a whale on crack.

It IS the craziest sedan you can buy. The other day I saw one coming up behind me, the first time I’d seen one in the real world. Its presence was amazing - radiating something between exotic and sinister. I quickly got out of its way.
