The Congressman says up front he does not have any questions. He is simply interested in making a speech. He doesn’t want to obtain any real information, just provide his own talking points. Then ends with a yes/no question that does not allow any explanation or more complex answer. Politicians on both sides of the aisle do it.

I appreciate this guy and imagine he's frustrated but when our government committees are unable to get answers on a consistent basis and unable to do anything when corruption is going on, they have lost their effectiveness. I often wonder who is worse, the criminal or the ones that cover for them or the ones that are in the position to protect the people from the corruption only highlighting the corruption.
