Thank you, child of God, for narrating these stories to us. I simply love to listen to them. They not only give us an insight into our past histories, they teach us about Father God's interaction with his prophets, the lesson impacted to them and how these stories shape our own lives today and what we can learn from them. Thank you, Father God. Amen

The book of Jasher is indeed quoted twice in the bible in Josh10:12-13 and 2 Sam 1:18-27. However, there are claims that copies of this book we see today, many are "fakes". I am incline to believe so, as several "versions" of this book that I come across, I could not find the quote in 2 Sam 1:18-27 in any of them. Perhaps you can point me to which version/copies of this book which is published today that has these text to "prove" its canonicity.
@thomasm579613 күн бұрын
The Original Book of Jasher: This was a lost ancient text, referenced in the Bible but no longer extant. It's believed to have been a collection of poems and songs, possibly a historical record. The 18th-Century Forgery: In the 18th century, a text was published claiming to be a translation of the lost Book of Jasher. However, scholars have since determined it to be a forgery. So, while the original Book of Jasher is a lost text, the 18th-century forgery, though claiming to be the lost book, is not considered a canonical or even a historically accurate text.

If Jasir is in the Old Testament and why in the world would they not add that to the Cannon? I know it would be huge but they should encourage people to read the book of Jasir. It’s very informative and
@RedDeckRedemption19 күн бұрын
It's not included because it wasn't translated into Greek with the cannon old testament books (known as the Speptuagent). The story is that 70 Jewish scribes were tasked with the translation of Scripture texts into Greek, so they could be added to the great Library of Alexandria They resented giving the holy texts to gentiles, so they intentionally didn't translate several books (they werent translating it voluntarily).

😢 This video has giant CC text right in the video, but the topic of the video, “Jasher”, comes out “Joshua” 25 seconds into the video. It happens so often. I guess people don’t notice because they’re not deaf. Rarely do I find a video that has correct subtitles. (My best friend is deaf.) Please check your subtitles whenever you’re using AI to generate your videos. @DeepBibleStories

Joshua 10:13 And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day. 2 Samuel 1:18 (Also he bade them teach the children of Judah the use of the bow: behold, it is written in the book of Jasher.)

Here's a theory, based in a popular KZbin archeologist's videos + Ancient Astronaut stuff, as well as how human DNA differs from the DNA of other apes: All skin colors were present in the convergence of north Africa, the Mediterranean, Egyptian and Lavant at the time that aliens arrived, in order to manipulate and change human DNA. Then, human migration.

*One question that arises is: How does the Book of Jubilees diverge from the Genesis accounts, particularly concerning the chronology of events and the supplemental narratives about the patriarchs' lives? Furthermore, what factors led early church leaders and councils to exclude it from the official canon, despite its widespread acceptance within certain early Jewish and Christian circles?* *To those reading this, know that God is aware of your struggles and has heard your pleas. He will deliver you. Simply place your trust in Him. Amen.*
