Ford 331 Dyno testing - intakes!

You guys should test a 331 like that with a ported 302 truck intake and a healthy solid roller cam.... BigDogs Porting has them flowing around 246 per runner....and a BBK Power Plus 61mm x2 throttle body.

this is kinda odd seeing as how no other test ive seen anywhere over the years show any significant difference in the gt40 and explorer.

That's definitely not what I call ported on either of the lowers. I would put my Explorer upper and lower up against any Edelbrock or Holley. Of course, it has been cut apart, welded and heavily modified.

The hate is real.. no need to mention any names but I know who you refer to about the socket . Sure is a lot of fake porters out there who "claim" to be porters and don't even know how to port the upper intakes or who simply rip people off. I just happen to have the "socket" intake, upper and lower that blows the other guys intake away for less money! It also blows that Holley systemax intake away too that you guys have here. Then you have the other snake oil sellers.. "custom cam" guys.. but thats a whole diffent story. Decent numbers for what the engine is.
