unhook the gas struts that prop the hood open, then open the hood as far as it will go. Use a bungee cord to hold the hood in place. It will be much easier to get the wiper assembly out.

I will make a donation for your help I am not a mechanic I have a 2005 navigator and my wipers stopped working one shop said I need a new fuse box another shop says the motor is getting power but the power isn't comng from fusebox the guy had me buy a new fuse box and the wipers still don't workvANY SUGGESTIONS? PLEASE HELP!

Yeah the wiper motor isn't what sprays the fluid. There's a separate pump

I know but I'm looking for the part that activates the fuid pump. I replaced the fuid pump already but it wont pump wiper fluid

@@jsnantic check to see if you're getting power and ground at the connector of the pump

The relay for the front washer is integrated in the front wiper motor. The rear washer runs off the same pump and has a separate fuse and relay in the engine fuse box. I know its an old thread but just saw it,

This is not the correct way to do this job. You not to pop the arms off the assembly. They will fall off in the future. To get it out all you do is lift the hood and undo the the hood struts by popping the spring clip then have someone hold the hood leaning back toward the vehicle and the entire assembly just comes out. That assembly is 300 bucks and you just damaged it popping those off the pivot balls.
