Just a very Good car in overall, very happy with this one. Very very usefull at least for my family purpose… It’s not perfect in anything, but very solid in different aspects for daily driving

One reason for delayed relese was Ford wanted to use LPF batteries, which are okay to charge to 100% without too much impact on battery degredation. Will improve perceived range. But seems odd to not provide a Focus replacement. A market that is poorly catered for by EVs.

It’s so bland and uninspiring, a box with a Ford badge, looks similar to the Kia Ev which is equally boring, but then again all Tesla’s are as ugly as fook and they manage to sell those 🤷‍♂️

But I have configured the "same" high end model (not all extras, but most) for ID.4 and Ford Explorer EV, and it seems like VW has an extra price of 10.000 EUR (63.000EUR vs 53.000EUR) on the same set of features.

@@NobbyOnCars Really? If you say somethig really bad about the car you will not get any other from the brand any time soon. All nice hotels, travels etc. So find somebody who drives certain model for at least one year and drove the car for at least 10K miles/km and talk to that person and show the car. This would be a proper review.Otherwise it is advert category.

Yay. Another electric SUV - just what the world asked for. Super-huge ipad in the center of the dash (tiick), and absolutely zero redeemable features. The big problem with EV's is there's absolutely nothing to differentiate them from eath other. They're all just motors and batteries. We're heading for the most boring time in motoring history.

Ford knew perfectly well they were being handed down outdated / annoying features from the ID4. It was cheaper for them without going to the expense of redesigning them. I can envisage old Henry looking down in disbelief at this piece of rubbish… that his great grandson, Jim Farley & Martin Sander (who was in charge of this clone & has now left Ford and gone to VW…) think is the future of Ford… The day when some faceless bureaucrats decide to change the legendary and iconic Ford emblem, will be the end of Ford
