ATTENTION FORD F150 FANS: Scotty Kilmer says the 5.0L oil consumption problem ('17, '18, '19) is a Ford class defect that Ford won't admit to. All of Ford's work arounds don't address or fix the real problem..... which is that Ford used an aluminum block on these 5.0 engines, and didn't sleeve the cylinders. They used a ceramic coating in these cylinders (to save a few pennies), and this coating is either failing or it isn't working as it's supposed to, thus causing the massive oil consumption problem.

Seriously guys? Your interested in a Truck that has a high displacement V8 Engine and your asking how many MPG this gets? If you guys are concerned with MPG goto a Toyota dealer and get yourself a Prius. Better be glad you got the V8. For what people use f150's for, hauling and hard work and such, its gonna last a lot longer than those ecoboost 6 cylinders. First, 6 cylinder motors are gonna crash and burn long before a V8 with all that stress on the motor. Second, when the turbo goes out on the ecoboost, and they are starting to become notorious for going out around 80-100k miles, you'll be so thankful that you don't have to shell out enough money to buy 3 brand new V8 motors just for one turbo to fix your old V6

Well if one is concerned about MPG with a truck one of two things they should consider. Get a sedan OR...Simply do not get a v8. I know it's a bragging point for many but at 290 horse power with the 3.3 v6 should be enough for anyone. Thats what I have and it's absolutely fantastic. Though I am someone who only wanted a basic work truck with only one real WANT ....4x4. I'm partial to XL trim, regular cab with 8 foot bed. That's what I grew up with, that's what I drive. MIne burn a quart every 5k miles and i've heard the newest update fixes it. I would bring that up next time you bring it in. I have not brought mine in but i will at some point. The off throttle rattle has been confirmed through fords ids system to be the vct solenoids oscillating to clean them during throttle tip out events. The bed clunk when pulling over curbs is the lack of lubrication on the pads between the leafs for the rear springs. I found over time just the normal gunk that accumulates there will lubricate it enough to get them to stop. I live in louisiana though so we get a lot of rain and therefore a lot of road grime on the underneath of our vehicles.

Your video would be fine if it was titled better. Thought you were going to talk about the lifts affect on your payload based off the videos pic and tiltle

Thank you for your feedback sir. I've done that specific video about 3 months ago. Peep the one titled MAX payload on a lifted F150. I try to get as much content out on this truck as possible.
