Ford Fiesta ST180 MK7 (Stage 3) Review | Popular for a reason?

In this video, I review a Ford Fiesta ST180 MK7 that's been mapped to 280BHP with a Stage 3 tune and bolt on parts including a hybrid turbo. This is a lot of power for a front-wheel drive car so how well can the power be put down? It's also worth mentioning that this car has a straight piped exhaust and is extremely loud. Volume of sound is hard to capture on camera as mics work their magic to make all audio seems the same volume for consistency but this car had the local folk come out in pitchforks after us!

I had a stage 3 fiesta st180 pushing 340 bhp with the following. Nexus remap, aet VT330R hybrid turbo, airtec stage 3 intercooler, airtec big boost pipes, ITG stage 3 induction kit, ITG crossover pipe, airtec oil catch can, milltek sports cat, custom stainless exhaust, turbosmart bov, ported manifold, Tarox 6 pot big brake kit.

@@CarNitty Definitely highly tunable little cars, 350 bhp is probably about the point where internals need upgraded/forged to be on the safe side. I traded mines in for the mk3 focus st 3 and as much as i like the focus it's nowhere near as fun as the fiesta and because the huge difference in power to weight between the two the focus at 250 bhp seems gutless in comparison.

Not a fan either. Very common in Essex and loses any special feeling due to its commonality but Dean blew the water out the boat with this build

Reminds me so much of the old Astra VXR, too much power and torque steer ruins the ultimate drive sometimes less is more! P.S Honda are FWD kings 🤣

It's like a rollercoaster when a FWD car is fighting for grip but a safe version compared to RWD which can put you in a ditch!

Tbh stage 3 fiestas don’t have much torque steer at all, I had a mk3 focus 250bhp and there was wayyyy more torque steere on that then on a 350bhp fiesta
