Just look under the fuel door. It says min 95 Most cars using 95 say Min 92 . Conclude what you want from that. Lowest consumption was on E10 instead of E5. Slightly higher octane

Looks like you topped the 95 octane with 98 octane, meaning only half of the fuel tank is 98 and the old half is STILL 95!!! which will bring no effect at all!!! you only drove 130km between both test's and everyone knows this is not enough to get the tank close to empty to fill 98 fully for actual results... Bad test

The tank was less than half full when I went to the gas station. I filled the whole car up with 100 octane fuel. So the overal mixture was 98 octane 😘

@@DignitasCars 99 RON is the best fuel in the whole Europe so I have no idea where you got the 100 RON from... And second of all mixing 95 with "100" Will not make the fuel 97.5 RON in your tank that's not how that works! Don't make yourself look even dumber.

Die Idee ist gut, die Ausführung bietet Verbesserungspotential. Vor allem kann so ein Fazit bei der im Video genannten Faktenlage niemals gefällt werden. Will man wissen, ob der Sprit was bringt, testet man entweder zu identischen Bedingungen (Atmosphäre, Gewicht, Streckenprofil, Reifendruck,.--mit erheblichem Aufwand verbunden), oder man misst die Motorleistung unter identischen Bedingungen. Und wie bereits erwähnt, macht bei dem Auto die obere v-Grenze von 200 keinen Sinn, da gewinnen alle anderen Einflussgrößen an Bedeutung ggü. der Motorleistung. Anyways, cooles channel :)

Ich hab so gut es geht für gleiche Bedingungen gesorgt. Es war der selbe Tag, also zwischen den Fahrten lagen maximal 2 Stunden. Unterschiede gab's nur im Gewicht und dem Streckenprofil. Da beides (Gewicht und Streckenprofil) im zweiten Lauf (mit besserem Sprit), schlechter waren (höheres Gewicht und bergauf anstatt bergab), die Zeit aber leicht besser war, kann man definitiv schlussfolgern, dass hier höherer Oktan definitiv sich positiv auf die Leistung auswirkt. Um die genaue Differenz zu bestimmen müssen alle Faktoren gleich sein, da gib ich dir Recht. Da wäre ein Rollenprüfstand ideal.

@@sv3inung the test to be credible would have to be done on the same day with small interval between tests in a controlled environment (dyno)so you can exclude or minimize external factors. Also the fuel lines would have to be emptied so you are running only 98 fuel and not a mix. There are other factors that come in to play but these alone are the main ones that can completely change the outcome. Other than this its amost impossible to really test/fuel diferences

So many people in the comments have no idea how fuels and octane work or even engines for that matter 😅😅, high octane fuels only increase the fuels ability to resist pre ignition or detonation! So use what fuel your manufacture states to use!! 98vs 91 they have the same power density!!

@@buggeroff9 This is a Turbo car with high boost, the Intake will not make a difference. The ECU will limit the boost the same regardless of intake VE.
