So I banged on the motor and the window went up and then I put it back down and it won’t work again. I know I shouldn’t have so it seems I’ve flown too close to the sun on this one. Any chances of banging on the motor working twice?

yes. Try a solid bang OR apply current from a cordless drill battery direct to the window motor wires. That should also put the glass up.

Question; Can you tell me what color wires operate the drivers side window of the 97 GT convertable . I got all the other windows to work but cant Figure out what wires go ware on the driver side.

Not sure I understand the question. The wires are in a wiring harness that plugs into the motor

Yea bro The wires were spliced so i got another control switch and i got the other wibdows to go up and down and i have these last ones to make the driver side window work but the color of the wires from the car dont match the colors from the control switch so i have been just moving the sround but cant get it right. so what color are the wires coming from the car for the driver side window Thank you so much for your reply.@@PowerUpAuto

my window on my 2000 gt won’t go up or down, i just hear a high pitched noise when i press the switch it can be moved by hand pretty easily it always slips down

How much is the motor. I need one for the passenger window on my 01 convertible. I also have a question. My passenger door window doesn't work but I have no idea if it's the motor or the switch. I heard you say the switches don't usually go out. Can you advise me on what to do first. My thing would me the switch first then the motor. Which is your advice.

Hi, great video. I have a 2002 ford mustang. The passenger side window goes up and down good. But lately it looks like something is scratching the glass from inside when i lower the window. What do you think it is causing this?

could be something stuck in the rubber bely moulding/seal strip. The track that your arm would rest on if the window was open. OR possibly one of the glass clips came off the glass and is causing the proiblem. Come on down to TampaBay, I'll check it out for you. (Hurricane Ian dependent)

Will the relay box go bad snd only effect drivers side? I replaced motor and it worked the old motor also worked then just stopped only thing is that relay box , I replaced switch also , all windows work except for drivers side

Well the wires were cut so i have to reconnect them and the color dont match the new control switch . The wires from the car dont match up with the new switch wires they are diffrent colors.
