That's a lot better than removing all the other parts other videos show. Thanks for the excellent video!

Sir, Thank You SO Much for Your Video. This helps a lot. Our 2009 Explorer has a broken vacuum tube assembly leading under this manifold to the EGR valve with tubes going to the EGR, FUEL Pressure Sensor and some other gizmos. We are reluctant to R2 the intake manifold but seeing how all this goes together (from your video) we may have some luck.

I was wondering if this could be done without pulling the air cleaner ductwork, throttle body and intake manifold off. Now I know. Thanks!

Nice technique and very informative, good job. But personally i'd rather take the whole IM out to check and clean everything down there.

We’re going to try this tonight. Our Explorer’s throwing a P0191 code, which also concerns the fuel rail pressure sensor.

If you went that far why wouldn't you change the intake seals? And im sure upon installation of the intake there was some dirt and dibris. No disrespect, just asking.

👍 good job! What’s the adapter from harbor freight called please? Thanks!

Can you tell anything bout the Torx bit adapter you are using? I looked for it at Harbor Freight and I cannot find it. I have looked elsewhere and it is RARE and I haven't found one yet.

@@melissaacton5957 Melissa be careful that if you have a screw tool that accepts different ends ( tork , Phillip's head , ) At the very least , use a magnetic driver but I go extra and use a bit of tape to MAKE SURE that a bit will not slip out and fall into the intake or if it does fall in you would have to remove the engine head to retrieve it You are probably aware but I just want you to

Thanks for the great info. For the people asking about the special tool. I couldn't find it either, but this one worked fine. Google, "Ratcheting Right Angle Multi-Bit Screwdriver Set, 8 Piece" . $3 at harbor freight.
