Ford Ranger Towing Test #1- the Case Backhoe

We already know these Ford Rangers are built tough.. but can they tow?
We put this little guy to the test! We started with the simple chain test. Then installed a gooseneck ball in the bed to test pulling a Belshe trailer. Finally we loaded a Case 580M Backhoe. You will have to watch until the end to see how it rode.

we use a ranger with a 2.3 and 5 spd to haul 3,000lbs of scrap in every week lol there tougher then they look, we towed home a dual axle trailer with it and had band saw and truck tool boxes etc all on the trailer. once its moving it just goes lol

I saw a Ford Ranger with a round bale of hay in the back. Made it squat, but it was doing the job. I have a 1996 4x4 extended cab Ranger with 5 speed manual transmission. Your video reinforces my confidence in it.

I use my ranger for my junk removal gig and customers are always unimpressed when they see it. I load up half a house in a trailer and the bed combined and just drive off no problem. Its been so reliable and useful, what a great little truck

@@iassosa9200 he was in first gear floored for a lot of that . he hit second gear floored for a few seconds but prolly never hit 20 mph . with a civic idexpect to spend a lot of time in third gear . i got a 6 by 12 single axle 1.5 ton trailer and never load it with more than a motor cycle or a riding mower .
