Hello, I’m alive! So this video is kinda a mix of foreshadowing and theories, but of there’s anything you think i missed or you interpret differently go ahead and tell me below! (I know the ‘Cross’ could also be referring to Wilbur Cross) I hope you enjoy it, I mainly wanted to make this for the ‘slashing’ bit, it might not have been intentional but I think it’s a cool detail. WAIT!!!! Hannah lists bad blood, CROSS, and black and white. The name of the Colonel that went insane is Wilber Cross. She wasn't referencing Ethan saying "cross my heart", she was referring to Wiley.

But it could also stand for Made In America (We're all made in America) The lyrics to Show Me Your Hands actually foreshadows Lex setting the mall on fire at the end of Black Friday "9-1-1, emergency call, Got a 4-1-1, at a shopping mall, Better pack your heat and utility belt, Any mall rats comin' in hot, they'll melt"

Here I am, 3 years later, losing my mind over that fact that in the end when they're counting the seconds we can see Ted holding the hands of a woman who I can only assume is Charlotte (his lover in the last musical) and the hot chocolate boy (also from TGWDLM) who we found out to be Pete, Ted's younger brother, in NPMD Oh Starkid, what you do to me?

I think when Hannah says cross the is refering to Wilbur Cross also when Wiley gives frank the box of wigglys he says «you’re gonna make a killing» and does the slit throat sign. Amazing video btw!

it's not a HUGE detail but Lex spraying pepper spray then proceeding to WALK through the cloud kinda foreshadows how bad she is at handling dangerous weapons aka the gun, since she was waving it around in the air with her finger on the trigger

Who is probably Uncle Wiley, Wiley could be a nickname for Wilbur. Joey is a nickname for Joseph, so Wiley might be a nickname for Wilbur since Wiggly is more childish. Wiley also said he was a colonel once. He also seems to know General Mac on a first name basis. Wilbur was General Mac's Mentor.

Okay, the first thing you brought up is incredibly intriguing because TGWDYLM was heavily implied to be a loop. The aliens tell the story of how they conquered the world in the first song, and Emma is present and dancing with them because they killed her at the end. I wouldn't be surprised if they pulled the same thing here, where the world ends and now we're hearing the story through some other means. Also, the entire song Hannah sings is full of her cryptic speech, especially the _"tomorrow will come, tomorrow won't come, tomorrow come today"_ implies that the entire day has happened more than once. You noted that the melody plays again at the mention of Webby, so maybe Webby is trying to further the good side's endeavors over and over again, maybe sending Hannah different warnings every time, despite Russia's retaliation. This seems pretty far-fetched though, so take it with a grain of salt.

I think the Hactchetfield saga overall has a theme of the beginning actually being later in the story. NPMD had this by starting with Richie’s death and implying Ruth’s as well as starting the cycle of danger at school over again with Grace taking Max’s place. This loop idea even bleeds a little into Nightmare Time with episode 2 starting with Emma and Paul’s wedding being crashed by homeless Ted and ending with the same thing from Ted’s perspective before skipping forward to his death mentioned at the end of the first story.

Well there’s a theory that Black Friday is some kind of time loop where the day keeps repeating that I saw somewhere, maybe that’s the idea?

Grace is referenced in TGWDLM too! I can't remember the names of all the characters but Paul's co-worker mentions his daughter claiming he'd rather have Grace Chastity for a daughter and he said "At least she's nice to me at church.", I think after he implied that Grace would be a better girlfriend for her than Deb. She was sort of a character in the whole trilogy.

This isn't really foreshadowing more of symbolism or just a small thing I picked up on. But on the hat Ethan gives Hannah, it looks as though it says Hatchetfield Shop Class with Ethan stating "...It was given to me by a great warrior" referring to Tom as he was their teacher. This could be showing how Ethan views Tom, or how Tom has been through a lot of shit with his wife dying, depression, still trying his best to be a good parent, and all of the events of Black Friday. Of course, it is also referencing He-Man with the "Power of Greyskull" but it seems a little too coincidental that the hat, from what I could tell is from Tom's class and is the thing that protects Hannah throughout the show.

Obvi Nick is the writer, but it should be said that her name was originally the word Chastity in TGWDLM (confirmed by subs but you can clearly hear Corey saying it too).

Something else supporting the Wilbur = Wiley theory is that Uncle Wiley knew John’s name, saying something along the lines of “You won’t stop us *John McNamara* “ when he saves the president from the B&W Edit: rewatched BF, he says “You can’t stop this, John”

At 2:13 if you go on with the scene you can hear the sound of Made in America in the background. I think you can only hear it with headphones and if you turn up the volume, but it adds so much to the scene and sounds really great😊☀️

In that scene, the opening to made in America plays whenever wiley talks. I think it might be his leitmotif, like how the piano melody from the beginning is Hannah's [it plays in the song she sings (what if tomorrow comes) and the song sung to her (do you want to play)].

The evil guy was Uncle Wiley. He was also the bearded pirate dude in the intro commercial. It is a popular fan theory (and seems very likely) that he was also Wilbur Cross, the mentor of John Macnamera who pledged his undying loyalty to the forces within the Black and White

i do Appreciate what this video is trying to do but a lot of this is just thematic setup and musical leitmotifs at work
