This is hilarious as I can see myself in all of the types. I think as a woman of color, I’ve had to be a bit of everything just to exist at work. If I could be myself without worry about making others comfortable, I’d be my driver-analytical self. Get her done comfortably, let me eat in my car alone already. It’s not personal! Ha It’s so hard for we analyticals to remember to treat others the way they want to be treated when we just want to do our job and go home.

😂 I’m a total driver oh my goodness. The black and gray and Honda lol and I actually say the words “git ER dun” at work 😂 but I’m a mom now and a high school math teacher so I have had to really learn to people. I eat lunch alone. I do collect books and information (reading materials/files) of all sorts… but I don’t do khaki 😂

I just started a new job. I'm mentally categorizing each of my coworkers. This is helpful! I'm still warming up. I'm an expressive but may come off as more of an amiable for now.

We have an ‘expressive’ type where I work. She’s foul mouthed, talks negatively about her close co workers and expects people to agree and join in with her. I avoid her like the plague because I’m very quiet and only have a few very close friends. I know for a fact that she’s intimidated by me.

1)Expressive- extrovert 2)Amiacable get along w other 3)Drivers - have nothing in the workspace. Luxury status symbol. That's my kid. Trophy. Get it done. 4) analytical figure it out and do it. Not fancy car they have a plan. Their car is paid off.the millonaire next door. Tan pants w tennis shoes because comfort is importannt.They don't have time for a theme song they have files to get thge job done. They are about information. Dase-anyyticals.

Hi Dan, The different personality types are very interesting. I think we do have control over our relationships,, and that is empowering. Relating to people I know in their style makes a lot of sense. I wish a bit of the Golden Rile did still apply, to treat others as you’d like to be treated is a nice concept but as the graphic displays 😂 dead as Hell. Anyway I wish I could have taken your courses but am moving to a place where internet connectivity is not always available. Keep light in the world, as you always do!

I actually sing 2 songs at work. Dirty deeds done dirt cheap is one😂 and the other is, whether you're a mother, whether you're a brother, stayin alive stayin alive. Whoot woot woot wooo😂 I don't sing and do a few dance moves to be seen, but always trying to have fun in the midst of a really hard but rewarding job as a Nurse. The patients think I'm funny😂

I’m a “Cheery Speedy Analytical character with Driver communication style. My work emails were concise, point driven, and ordered. Alas I have neither tan pants nor any type of car ... no wonder I never found my “tribe” ;)

I had a former boss who forced us all to do this test. She then spent a year trying to force all of us to change to become Drivers like her. We were called lazy as a motivational technique.

Interesting! I like the simplicity. I have navigated the last 6 decades as the Myers-Brigg classic INTJ. Not too common to find a female INTJ. I like the idea a of Driven/Analytical mix. Yes, indeed, we send emails because we don't actually want to talk to anyone!

Yeah I’m glad others are saying it. I think naturally imma creative but, due to pretty early trauma and capitalism in general, I’ve had to be all types at work. I basically just try to get around the abuse and abusers at every job by being however helps others and blocks abuse! Not to mention helping the company and the customers (most if not all my 100 jobs have been me filling about 10 roles at a time for as little as they can pay me!) I’m so tiered and haven’t felt safe at work to be myself. I also never liked attention but I love color and would try sharing candy and stuff because of the joy it gives. I find this video a bit confusing but maybe it will help at my next job I wil definitely keep it in mind

I don’t see that as true. We all seem to have a basic personality type that we feel most comfortable with, on a spectrum of course. But we can learn to pretend another type to fit in but that is us adapting to others, not who we are at our core.
