He and the rest of the Security Servces are extremely brave men and omen! Their battleground is not defined line in some far away land, but right outside their front door 24/7. Their enemies do not wear uniforms and comply with the Rules of War - they are completely anonymous who cleverly blend into the obscurity within plain sight.

Story is that he was already in army undercover organisation ( so the Det ? ) across the water and was brought over ....the book and episodes recounted are good though was he too amped up and aggressive to cope long term ...he was not in the Regiment ( SAS to others who love those dramatic initials...hehe ) but cant help remembering how 14th Int or the Det distinguished themselves as being the calm ones versus the Troop attached ...trigger pullers almost like pit bulls temporarily leased ....everything showing how temperament to assault as in Loughgall is not the same as the calmer skills of the Det

I would be more convinced about our intel services if it were not that every time we hear about a terrorist that has just committed an attack was on a security watch list.
@comic-concon5602
@comic-concon5602 7 жыл бұрын
more convinced about how competent they are, why does it seem to be that the attacker is always known to the authorities? Maybe its funding issue
@RAMSEY1987
@RAMSEY1987 7 жыл бұрын
The London attacker was known to the police but they thought that he was not a threat they were wrong, the paris attacker (2015) posed as refugees and killed 130 people, their names were registered in counter-terorism databases across Europe but they had fake passports again not a great day for counter terrorism agencies across Europe. It takes about 20 police officers to watch one man around the clock so it is a funding issue as they have limited resources so they have to choose who to watch and sometimes they get it wrong. So it is no surprise that people are losing faith in security agencies and police.
