Please pronounce “show eigh” and not “shewy” as like you do. Japanese is syllabic which mean it’s sho-e-i. They do not change the pronouncement of each letter like you do in English. Therefore, o is o in option, e is e in elevation, i is i in indication etc. Please consider.

I’ve been riding with the original Neotec for over 5 years. Love it. I think the most telling thing about the Neotec is that after a full day of riding you take it off and think, “wow I’ve had this on all day!” Total comfort. I began shopping for a new helmet and tried several Schuberth helmets. I tried to convince myself that I should like them, but in the end when it came time to purchase the new helmet I went straight for the Neotec 2. Comfort and tech innovation between the Neotec and the Neotec 2 is noticeable. Shoei works best for me.

I have a similar opinion. I switched a C3 to Neotec II. Haven't really intended to get away from Schuberth after the C3 (size L), I was very satisfied with it, fit like a glove, but after 5 years it was time to get a new helmet. Tried the C4 and it was absolutely terrible on my head, huge pressure on my jaw bone, size XL felt like a bucket. C3 Pro lower pressure on jaw, but still above comfort. Tried the C3 just to be sure, it was a "welcome home", perfect fit. Then I tried the SHOEI N2, absolutely perfect fit + ton of customization options in case it wouldn't. Differences - C3 was quieter, at least in low speed, N2 still acceptable and consistent throughout varoius speeds. N2 has absolutely superior aerodynamics - C3 @ highway speed was about to rip my head off on my naked bike (Hornet 900, no shield). N2 barely noticeable pressure on neck (trained by C3), sustainable even @ 200kmh (don't tell anyone). Also N2 - no need for neck warmer, most of the air is redirected to the sides, not below the helmet. Even in rain I ended up completely soaked with a dry neck. All in all - no regrets switching to N2.

What size Neotec 2 did you go for? I am about to make the same change from C3pro (size L) to Neotec 2, can only order online. My measurement 58,5cm falls right in-between M(57/58) and L(59/60) in Shoei size chart. Read that the Neotec 2 runs a little big, is that true? If so, M should fit me. Appreciate any recommendation.
@judecas134 жыл бұрын
@@osmansonmez5766 I don't know, whether the N2 runs big or not, I was lucky to try it out before buying. Only tried the L size and it was a perfect fit for me. C3 Pro size L was tight tho. C3 size L was perfect, too. So I really cant make a recommendation for you, however the Neotec has different cussion sizes to customize it if it runs too loose (L) or too tight (M) on your head. Another thing to consider is shell size. Smaller is better, but not sure if there is a difference in N2 shell size for M and L. If there isn't, I would opt for L and in case of too loose maybe order thicker cussions for it.

Thanks for the comparison, very helpful. I went for a Shoei Neotec II. Alltought it fitted perfect from the shelf, I was invited to the PFS (personal fitting system of Shoei. After these modifications it fits like a glove. I came from a HJC SYMAX II which is a world of difference! My daily 200km (vise versa) ride proves this ever since I bought the Shoei.

Wouter Vijfhuizen, I am currently using the Symax II. I am still undecided between upgrading to the RPHA or changing brands to the Shoei Neotec II. I like how the Symax II has served me. HJC seems to be pretty decent. I'm not sure that I like how Shoei is trying to pigeon-hole buyers into purchasing Sena. I have been using Packtalk.

You can also instal the Packtalk onto the Neotec, the only thing is that it will be a little bit further back and there is a big hump on the side of your helmet

Great review. After years of riding Arai racing full face (Noisy), I wanted a flip front. Tried both and for me the C4 was not the right fit and just felt wrong. For me also, the Neotec felt better quality so I bought one. Had it now for a couple of months and what I miss over the Arai is a front air vent that can be controlled onto the face and the visor. As a glasses wearer, the Neotec fit (which creates a micro climate in the lid), causes my glasses to mist up when you get below 5mph. In the wet it is even worse. When you create tests in future, try wearing glasses. It will put a whole new dimension on your tests (most of which will be blind).

I got the Schuberth C4 with a SC1a Bluetooth module. I have 5000 miles in it. My head is 24" and fairly round, so it required a XXL. The helmet is extremely quiet and comfortable. Maybe my larger head size (XXL vs. the tester's small) makes for a tighter neck roll fit and thus more noise abatement. The Schuberth has headphones and mic already installed, so the installation of the SC1 Bluetooth just requires snapping in the battery and Bluetooth module in their respective compartments within the shell. Completely seamless and integrated.

Nice and honest review. I’m in the UK and bought the Schuberth not long after it was released here. Prior to that, I had a Shoei GT Air. Much to my surprise, the Schuberth is a whole lot noisier (quite uncomfortable really). I ride with earplugs, but still find it noisy. On the other hand in similar conditions the Shoei is a lot quieter. For a brand that prides itself on making the quietest helmets Schuberth has missed the mark with the C4. Also as you mentioned the pinlock insert provided with the helmet is useless. The Sena SC2 unit I got with the Schuberth doesn’t work as well as the Sena 20S which I run with the Shoei. To anyone who’s thinking of going for the Schuberth with the SC1 unit, go check out the horror stories on the Schuberth forums before you buy.
@onyekaonyia83956 жыл бұрын
AG Coarseman with regards to the SC1 the noise from the wind flow around the helmet masks the sound from the SC1 at motorway speeds (anything above 60mph). It’s even become worse since the latest software update. I’ve adjusted the pinlock, but it’s done no good. Mine I believe is one of the earlier batches of pinlock inserts Schuberth tried their hand at making themselves. Later versions come from Pinkock themselves.

Hi Onyeka, the noise of the C4 did disappointed me as well, however it is also due to personal circumstances. About the Pinlock: Schuberth tried to make a anti-fog lens themselfs, which actually didn't work at all. However, they have fixed that now by putting an official Pinlock anti-fog visor into their C4. The old anti-fog lenses can be replaced under warranty. I'm not familiar with the SC2 system, the SC1 had a couple of bad apples, however most of them works fine!

I've just bought a Shoei neotech 2 and am really impressed with it. I tried a c4 pro and it didn't match the comfort of the Shoei. Looks wise I preferred the Shoei as well. My neotech is by far the most comfortable, quiet and aerodynamic lid I've ever owned. Even at 120mph ( on a private road, obviously) it feels rock steady with virtually no tugging or lifting at all . A lot of money, but a hell of a lot of helmet.

Glad to hear Schuberth has have fixed the dire visor leaking. I had rain water streaming down the inside of my C3 and filling the ill fitting pillock with water. I had both the previous models of these helmets and I can't really recommend either of them unfortunately - hope the new ones are better. They both lost plastic bits over time with normal use. The Shoei lost the plastic chin ventilator handle/flap/button thing so I can't adjust the ventilation any more - better check the new one is stronger as you have to buy the entire chin guard if you want to fix it. Another issue with the Neotec 2 is they still haven't given you a way to raise the visor with your right hand - stupid design - sat at traffic lights in gear you have to obscure your view with your right hand as you reach around to try to use the lip on the left hand of the visor - I wouldn't buy one again for this reason alone. The previous models were equally bad imho but for different reasons - look elsewhere or better still get a full face with better protection for less than half the money.

Excellent review. I owned a Neotec and often wondered if I made the right choice. It’s very comfortable and the sun visor works perfectly never need to wear sunglasses anymore. It’s the best and quietest helmet I’ve ever used but like you said it’s not going to eliminate the need for earplugs entirely. But it’s also the most expensive I’ve ever owned as well. I don’t regret it though. Thanks for the review. I know both these helmets are an excellent choice either way

I own the Shoei and coming from the previous helmet, it is a pleasure riding with this helmet. My previous helmet was a Bilt. Noisy, the shade screen hit my nose. This Shoei feels so nice at 80 MPH. It kind of shows you get what you pay for. The Bilt was $120 helmet. Now I see why the Shoei is $600 + $270 for the Bluetooth module. The comfort is amazing and the noise factor is great. I am happy with my purchase but I never tired the C4. The shop I purchased mine from didn't have. What I do like about the C4 is the huge windshield. I must find a dealer and try one on.

First off I want to say great review. One of the better helmet-focused reviews I have seen. I ride the original Neotec and it's been a great piece of gear. The only thing about it is that it fit a bit off, being more round than other Shoei's I own. And it does leak just a little in driving rain. The Neotec 2 seemingy fixes this and refines the venting, so it would seem like a natural migration path for me. But the price is putting me off as well as the comms scheme. The Schuberth has always been cost prohibitive and this one is no different. Plus the look is not doing it for me. As such, I'll probably bite the bullet go with the Shoei when it's time. I do want to give the RPHA 90 some consideration though simply because of the value proposition it presents. Well, perceived value proposition. We will see. What's that you say? There is a video on the HJC? How fortunate! HA!

Good job on the review. I own a Schuberth C3 basic and have driven it for 2 years now on my TDM 850. Lately I had the chance to test out the Neotec 2. What happened was that at the highway, I took the first exit, turned around and gave it back. For me driving 120 km/h with the Neotec 2, felt like driving 160 in the Schuberth, regarding noise.. What I also didn't like was that the seal of the chin part of the helmet leaked wind inside the helmet while I turned my head. Additionally, a lot of hot air would gather inside the helmet while stopping and with the Schuberth I can put the visor in a sort of "city mode" making this problem obsolete. I guess head shape plays a big role regarding noise, because for me the Shoei was uncomfortable. Either way, thank you for this review it basically confirms, to test a helmet before you buy one

I had the C3 Pro, C4 Pro and Neotec 2 on my shortlist. I was expecting to buy the C3 Pro as it is discounted in some places and the C3P or C4P were the helmets I really wanted. But after trying them the N2 was the best fit for me by quite a margin. I have an oval shaped head. Ultimately the choice will come down to which helmet fits you better. The shop were able to swap the cheek pads and head lining of the N2 for me. Initially it felt too tight but now it has bedded in it fits like a glove. I don't have a lot of experience of different helmets but so far I found the N2 to be very quiet and very stable. It feels heavy when first putting it on but I don't notice the weight when riding with it. It's very quiet and you can really tell the difference when opening the vent or visor. There is some whistling wind noise at higher speeds but that is all so far. I think that's because the shop changed the liners for thicker ones to really fit me properly, therby cutting out a lot of noise. It really does fit perfectly and is very comfortable for me. I also found the flip mechanism and the sun visor slider to be easier to operate on the N2 than the C3P / C4P. The button/slider is easier to find when unfamiliar with it. But I imagine that would get easier on the C3P / C4P once you have owned either for a while. But I will say that the N2 chin strap is a little uncomfortable for me. I can never quite get it feeling right. I forgot to try the chin straps in the shop so I can't comment on the C3P and C4P in this regard but I supect from your own comments that they would be more comfortable. I didn't use the C3P or C4P actually on a bike. But the ventilation on the N2, with both vents open while moving is fantastic. There is a lovely stream of air over my face and head. The N2 pinlock seems to work well. It was above my budget but I don't regret my decision. One huge negative was that putting the visor back on the N2 after fitting the pinlock was a real PITA. It drove me nuts until I realised how to do it. What a pain! So my recommendation would be to get the helmet which fits you best. I would also recommend buying from a well regarded shop which can fit it properly. I suspect that will make a larger difference to the noise levels than anything else.

I agree with everything you said in video . The Shoei fits me better than the C4 . The C4 is a little noisier due to being more open at the bottom . I enjoy both . C4 I wear in town for better visibility . Shoei I wear on long rides for comfort. The C4 to me feels a little bit more quality in the firmness of the opening of the 2 vents ,& the visors moment . The liner and foam feel more quality than the Shoei also . The Sena units for both helmets have a few flaws too . I would definitely look at those reviews before buying to c how they can effect you & your needs . You may b better with a regular helmet with a ez reliable sena 20 unit . Thanks for the great video

I have just upgraded my Neotec to a Neotec 2. I like the fit and quality of Shoei and felt at home with the Neotec 2 straight away. My only gripe would be that in cold wet weather the visor gets misted due to the improved fit around the neck, which requires the front vent to be open all the time and visor cracked open at low speed. As soon as it is dry and or warm no problems. I am happy overall with the helmet and am sure that it is quieter than the Neotec which it replaced.

Thanks for a clear and informative review. I have a big head and need a XXL or 63/64cm lid and do a lot of touring on my GS. The range of touring & flip helmets of good quality in this size is basically these two. There is a Nolan but it is not a patch on either of these. Ive had the original Concept and a C2 and then moved to the aforementioned Nolan, a Multitec followed by my current Neotec (which I love but needs replacing soon). The C4 is now available in Australia, however this review has convinced me that it will ne a Neotec II when I change. And the SENA bluetooth sound system (which you didn't review) has been reviewed highly as well. Although I must admit Im pretty happy with my Scala Rider Q2. With regard to noise, I assume all helmets are noisy, I use ear plugs on highways and above but not when commuting around town. A big factor for me living in a hot climate is ventilation and the flip-down sun visor (as someone who wears glasses). When the Concept first came out it was the only helmet on the market that offered this feature. Thanks again!

I bought a C4 for my first helmet. It fits nice, is confortable, has great visibility but the noise is terrible. Lots of wind noise and whistling round front air went when is closed (the cover of front vent fits equally when closed). I taped front cover for test and the helmet stopped whistling. I expected more from Schuberth regarding noise protection. This was probably the reason for good discount.

Shoei hit a home run with the Neotec II. I own both. Well, my Schuberth is the E1, which is the C3 Pro with the sun shade on top for Adventure Style. It was a 2XL and it was tight from day one. Didn't even know they made a 3XL when I bought it. It took months to loosen up with daily riding and after two years, I have to say the Schuberth is still the hardest helmet to put on. So I got the Neotec II today and wow! I mean, WOW. Night and day difference. My head is 61.5 cm and the Schuberth never felt like my head went all the way in there. I had kept away from Shoei helmets in the past as they were more rounded and my head is oval. But I tried on the Neotec II today in an XL as it is the size for me, and it just sunk on my head like a hand in a well worn glove. I first took out the cheek pads just to make sure my head fit in it and it couldn't have been a more perfect fit. I put the cheek pads back in, size 35, and at first I though it might be a tad snug, but I can always get the size 30 cheek pads if I feel it is too snug, but so far, I barely notice it. So I'll probably just keep it as is. Now here's the part that made me pull out my money and buy it on the spot. This is the first helmet I've ever owned that my ears didn't fold down when I put it on. Blew me away. And yes, it is quiet. Which one is quieter? Eh, I ride a Harley so it's hard to tell. But fitment wise, there is no comparison as the Neotec II is hands-down the clear winner. I have the com system coming in tomorrow and I'll install that and see how it sounds. Fantastic helmet and I love the ratchet chin strap system. I always add them to any helmet that doesn't already have them. Hate the D-ring system. But both of these helmets have the ratchet system. And the Neotec II closes right down. Even with the tight fitment of the Schuberth, I still have to like, spread the cheeks and purposefully latch the modular system down and wait till I hear both sides click into place. The Neotec II just pops locked with no issues at all. Shoei said they were making this new Neotec II with a more elongated oval size and they got it perfect for my head. I've been wearing helmets since 1971 and this is the absolute best helmet I've ever worn. It's not even close. I will keep the Schuberth for now as well as I have a camera permanently mounted to it and I like what it does. The SENA 10C pro. It had a Cardo system in it but I took it out as it kept having too many issues and the warranty was gone. So I put in the 10C pro and I like the camera setup. For the Neotec II, I'll just use the SENA system built for it and use the GoPro. I have a separate audio system for the GoPros so there's no issue there. Love this new lid. Shoei hit a home run with this helmet for sure. Thanks for the video and keep them coming great stuff here.

mgml Absolutely. Everyone has a different shape and not all helmets are going to fit everyone. Don’t get me wrong, I still love the E1 and I still have it. After two years it fits good enough. But the Neotec fit better on day 1. I never could find a Schuberth to try on. No one had any in stock. So I had to order online and I never knew they made a 3XL up front. Thought I bought the largest they had. I was going to get some different cheek pads but they were stupid expensive. I did get some different cheek pads for the Neotec for like $50. But either way you go, you’re getting one of the best helmets out there. Nothing else even comes close to these two helmets. It really does come down to the shape of your head.

I have the SchuberthC4. I thought it was very comfortable. Very good visibility and I don’t have to tilt my head down to see my instrument gauge n my tank. Those points get a 10. Ventilation - great for cool weather. Hot weather like we can have in California summers, I find it hot and stuffy. I have to open my visor to let in air. At higher speeds, the open visor interferes with the wind dynamics and it needs to be closed. So it’s a cool weather helmet for me. :(. I was hoping to use it for all seasons. Next..the integrated sound. The sound was fine but I had trouble connecting and the buttons are not easily felt with gloves on. So just remember which is plus and minus. I still love the helmet, it’s not a perfect world.

Nice review, I bought a C4 a year ago with SC1A and I encountered problem after problem. For quietness it rank 1 point behind my cheap Zox Nevado helmet, for aerodynamic it is a lot better, comfort and fitment it also better. Here is the downfall of Schuberth C4 and SC1A communication system, the helmet's chin piece rattle and amplified thru out the helmet makes it irritating, the cover fell off on freeway after 6 months using, right side of helmet and certain speed it buzzes, even after many attempt and correction with pinlock it still fog up, right cheek pad threads came apart and insulation foam start coming out. The battery tray for the com came apart in the helmet so as the com's tray itself, the engineer at service center fixed the problems with hot glued, communication system internal short after 8 month and got replace as customer good will, while replace the com unit found out the battery tray now pushed in on one side and poor connection like the original problem I had, time to get some sticky tape to shims it. I am so fed up with a poor quality of Schubert after 11 months, I made a decision and switched to Shoei today, so far so good and debating on getting SRL communication system. By the way SC1A system is based on older Sena system compare to SRL based on 20S.

I have a few helmets, and one of them is last year's outgoing Neotec (Neotec I, i suppose now) It is by far significantly quieter than my other helmets. It's the only one that I regularly just ride with no earplugs/earbuds and enjoy the hum of the bike's exhaust.

I had to return Shoei. Fits perfectly and neck roll as he said (quieter) but horrendous high frequency noise around visor level, (not from vents). I have a C3 & GT air. I have taped over the vent on the C3. I never want ventilation on a helmet.

In comparison to what I read here, I had a Schubert C3pro for 3 years and I hated it. The fit was ok, no pressure points or so, but the visor to me is a drama. above 60km it slams shut, the pinlock kept leaking, even with a new visor installed, when rain the visor did fog even with pinlock, the chin piece did not lock well in up position and the helmet is noisy as hell. At least that last bit became clear after I changed to the neotec2. Very comfortable, much less noise, a top of the bill visor system, no leakages, better locking, much better overall. I am very happy with the switch. And yes the C3pro experience made me skip the C4 completely

@@FortaMoto Thanks for your reply. I am very happy with it. The venting is damn good. Fit and feel is all over my head and cheeks. Wind noise is there but not oppressive and when I get some pennies saved will be putting the Sena system in. What is really nice is that the head foam pops off with two clips and you can roll it out the front when you stop for a sneaky smoke and let it breathe in the shade for a bit and pop it back in and its dry again and warm.

I have the C4, Neotec 2 and the AGV SporstsModular. My favourite is the AGV and the least favourite is the C4. Your review is spot on for the noise, I have the same experience. I sold the C4 because I could't tolerate the noise and it doesn't fit well. The Neotec 2 in my opinion, seems to have thinner paddings at the top. It creates a hot spot after more than 1 hour of continuous wearing. I might replace them with thicker padding. I dont like the smoke visor in the Neotec 2. AGV Sports modular - this is my favourite helmet for now. It is extremely light, very comfortable, good noise isolation. If you have not look at this helmet, please do before deciding on any other modulars. FYI - I ride a Ducati monster with no fairing

Good review... I found this after having recently bought my Neotech 2. Having not ridden in 25 years I don’t have anything to compare it to. I love the helmet all but for the fact that I think it is very noisy at freeway speeds. So much so that it also makes me want to wear ear plugs. Only problem with that is it kind of defeats the purpose of the 300 dollar SRL BT that I purchased for my helmet... which is basically useless at 60-80mph cause of wind noise anyway.. I’m not sure if it is because I am maybe between sizes... My head measures 59cm and the medium felt very tight. The large is very comfortable but maybe just too big enough to give me some extra wind noise... not sure. I have 30 days to return it so may try a medium (didn’t have my bike when I bought my helmet so that wasn’t possible at the time).

I've had a C4 for about 9 months, and it's been the hugest disappointment - a very costly mistake. Almost as noisy as my old Caberg Duke that cost about a quarter of the price. Other massive problems are that it's very uncomfortable for more than half an hour or so if you wear glasses. Schuberth Customer Service's (ha!) solution was to shove some tissues under the lining at the top, which has helped a bit but, to my mind, shouldn't be necessary on a helmet at this price point. The chin vent cover fell off very early on, the Sena comms module works when it feels like it, and the matte dark blue finish (the only one available in my size at the time I needed it) picks up permanent marks if you look at it a bit funny. Add to that the fact that Schuberth's boast about being the only helmet company in the world to have its own wind tunnel, yet the buffeting and twisting at speed is worse than my cheapo Caberg, and it turns out to be a very bad deal indeed. I wish I'd realised that some dealers such as Moto Legends in Guildford keep a range of sample helmets to ride-before-you-buy. It would have been worth the 330-mile round trip to save the grief I've had from buying a very expensive item on trust of the marketing hype.

In the video, the C4 sounds quieter. Is this because of a difference in the mic? After reading all the contradictory comments, I'm more confused than ever. Some say the N2 was very noisy, and the C4 was quiet. Some say both leaked water, some say they didn't. Some the C4 was noisy, and the N2 quiet. Some say the C4 buffetted their head at high speed, and some say it was smooth, quiet, and solid..... I just wasted a half an hour.
@FortaMoto5 жыл бұрын
Could be because of mic placement, we used the same mic in both helmets. It really depends on the shape of your head, and how well the helmet fits your head. Try them both on, that's the best way to find out. For me, the Neotec II was slightly quieter - but only slighty. Leaking water is generally a warranty issue, it shouldn't happen at all.
@7x7795 жыл бұрын
@@FortaMoto Thanks. In the store, the N2 seems a little better fit, and seems higher quality. But the C4 is on sale, half the price. My main concern is noise. I first tried a Chinese brand, 130.00 Built Power Mod (?), nice features, but way noisier than my 25 year old worn out Shoei. What strange is if I hold my hand across the lower side, all the noise goes away.

After owning a Schuberth C3 pro, it was a logical choice to buy the C4, Worst choice EVER. I was one of the first to drive the Schuberth C4. The known problems with the pinlock vision were the first complaints I experienced. These were eventually resolved but then the following problems with the communication system SC1 advanced followed. The communication system has been back to Schuberth several times. Even the complete helmet with communication set has been back and the complete inside work has been replaced. It still does not work. After the confirmation of my visor broke down last July (two years after purchase), I bought a new helmet, a Shoei Neotec 2. The old vision is (as leniency) out of warranty if still replaced. Total damage of helmet and communication set € 949.90. I will never buy the Schuberth brand again. The C4 is a shame for the brand. if you want to enjoy a nice helmet that you use every day, DO NOT buy Schuberth. The Shoei Neotec 2 is a great helmet and cannot even be compared to the Schuberth. Another plus the Neotec 2 can be fitted personally.

On Schuberth there is something very important regards of noise. I had C3 in L 58/59 . And it is with much smaller shell. It was small tight fit for me, so I've bought XL 60/61 , And boy it was different storry. L is much smaller and lighter, but XL is bigger and sits much lower on the neck. Smaller was noisy as hell, full of buffeting. Larger XL dead silent. So I see here that he wears smaller shell type. For M and L I advise SHOEI for better noise protection. But for larger heads, Schubert is way to go, I think.

Well, yes but thank you for your reply. Hence I was wondering if the connection between camera audio and a good quality helmet could be refined as not to compromise the integrity of the video recorder.

Making a hole in the case could be the option, however you can also record the audio and video separated, and synchronize later in the eddit. Voice over is quite difficult to do and not that nice to look at

The pinlock copy the C4 came with was a disaster and my brand new €700 helmet is virtually unusable because fog builds up between the visor and the "pinlock", which means it's impossible to wipe off. When I found out that the C4 now comes with a proper Pinlock, I contacted Schuberth, who didn't answer any of my questions. Instead they referred me to the shop where I bought it. The shop says it's a manufacturing fault and advices me to buy a new visor with a Pinlock insert for €85! This, and the fact that the SC1 communication system is subpar, means that it's back to Shoei for me and I will never consider a product with the Schuberth name on it again.

Really helpful review. I had the Schuberth C3 and wasn’t impressed with the degradation over 3 years, especially considering the cost. I’ve had a Shoei GT Air for 4 years and it’s as snug as the first day which says a lot about the build quality. I will probably replace the GT Air this spring and the Neotec 2 or GT Air 2 are options. Most of my riding is touring so wind noise and comfort over long distances -v- compatibility with my type of bike (Triumph Tiger 1200) will be key in the decision. Good video.
