My issue wasn't the normal cars. The boss cars were not fun to play against. They heal so fast so people keep running away and you are almost forced to take a boom bolt + land on boss cars or loose

NOOOOO THEY LISTENED TO THE COMMUNITY 😭 Even a lot of casuals are starting to get upset about the cars. I'm on both sides simultaneously lol. The biggest issue is that ranked is the same rules and loot pool as pubs. I enjoy the cars, but sometimes I want to play Fortnite, and that's not really possible this season. My buddy and I were dropping 20 bomb wins in ranked almost ever game we got a car, and it didn't matter whether the opponent's were building, using the boom bolt, using the fists, etc. My buddy would grab a repair torch, shoot from the turret, and repair from in the vehicle while I rammed people. Just split ranked and pubs, Epic.

This nerf has nothing to do with comp. If it was they would have made cars useless. And if Epic listened to the comp community even once, Ranked would have improved on what Arena used to be. This change was aimed at balancing the game, but once again the way they approached it was by another extreme with Boogies. I’m not a comp player, but I like to improve whenever I do play a game. I can have fun, but also schmove at the same time. And the whole argument on cars doesn’t take an expert to see that they’re still highly unbalanced as a whole.

@@McBioBones there are multiple ways to heal a car: car regen stations which can heal your car in about 5 seconds and are located all around the map, cacti which heal your car for over 100 hp which are located all across the desert. and the fire things found in large ammo crates which can heal your car to full about 2 times. so their are many ways to heal your car even if it doesn't heal on its own.

my whole friend group quit fortnight after the car update and went to valorant and none of us are really into competitive game play its just that if some one can just get in a car and become almost immortal why even try. as before this update the only counter to the cars was the boom bolt which could only have 16 ammo and for players that are not good at the game we would probably end up using like 8 ammo on 1 just for the person to run off and find a new one. honestly the best nerf they could have done is make the powerups less common or be 1 time use. over all i think this nerf is needed as anyone could just sit in a car and become better than most players without cars.

(Just my thoughts, disagree with me if you want) Well, it all started with the ranked mode, cuz, the old Arena mode didn't have cars or any OP stuff that they are adding in the game, it was simple Now, because of that, we will listen people saying that "this is the worst season ever" (and i felt that in the C4S3, they ruined competitive gameplay with the JJK mithics and more) I play casual for fun, but I understand the competitive side, and if they don't return to the simple way of the old Arena mode, this game will never reach balance

This season has both sides going coo coo, but nerfing something people enjoy is kind of a drag, this is coming from someone who's tired of being roadkill (casual player) but it is fun to do things like fly around or blow up other cars, or even drive around in the bus they brought back! It's fun but not a problem you couldn't get around, I usually used high buildings to avoid the cars or the gloves to sort of uppercut them. Not really needed to nerf them this much, especially since taking away healing from the boss cars makes them feel average :(!! But it's just an opinion of mine!!

That's the fun part. Being in someone's car or you being in one and accidentally teaming while waiting for one of us to quit is fun. Played a match and a guy and I where chilling in the car just driving around and lowering other's cars hp. There is a match there was even 2 guys in my car. One was driving and the other chilling in the back healing himself. The driver tried making us quit by bringing us to the storm but he himself decided to try to quit multiple times but after getting shoot he came back same for the other guy then when they both auit and started to fight I killed them and I had a laugh
