Cheers BOTB for sorting the lads out ! Not riding the bikes beforehand is an entertaining twist but I wouldn't hold you to it for future BBB's if it's gonna fuck up your overall enjoyment or safety. We all love a bit of hijinx but nobody wants to see Perkins or Statham take a serious spill if a brake pisses fluid mid corner. Brilliant effort none the less and looking forward to the next one !

I feel the only way you could emulate the whole old-school top gear format is having some really good mates who have an underlying hatred for each other. Ive owned a 600cc bandit and they have a very strange thing with the petcock switch. If you turn it to full on position it cuts off the gas. You have to back it out about 1 cm from full on and the darn fuel will flow. I spent many many many nights trying to figure out my fuel problem, including buying a new petcock, before i accidently stumbled onto the 1 cm back out fix. Never had a single problem after that in 2 years of ownership of the bike. Go figure!!

Great episode! ...and with regards to the pitch of the beer bottle, it largely depends on the remaining content of the bootle, the less fluid and more air means lower pitch.

That Bandit 600 was my first bike when I lived in the UK. Sold it after 6 weeks after having to wind it to redline everywhere. Bought a FireBlade CBR954RR and was much happier. Was a good first bike though.
