Forward Controls Part 1 // 1974 Ironhead Chopper

In this video I begin to install forward controls on the ironhead. The forward controls are from V-Twin manufacturing. I purchased them from Denniskirk.

74 is a right hand shift,interesting

All Sportsters, from 1957 to 1974, were right hand shift. 1975/76 models used a horrible crossover system to switch the brake/shift and then from 1977-on all Sportsters shift through the crankcases on the left side.
