Wow, I had not heard anyone suggest recording and matching your own voice. I like how you focus on practical ways to improve instead of just talking about theories. Your tips really help (:

Perfect exercise, I like to kick it off with a nice cold garlic smoothie for that extra kick, make sure to take a really thick book for optimal sensation.

Thanks for the tutorial, amazing! Btw, Is it recommended to sing with headphones when recording? I noticed that I’m poor in following pitch while on hp vs. without- just using a speaker in the room, that natural acoustic sound. That’s why I’m hitting the notes in living room Karaoke vs. my room recording with headphones on.

Hello Freya! Decided I was going to sing a karaoke song this year - a bucket list thing. :D But I've always had a voice a quarter note low on my best days I could hit only a few notes right. I love the idea of the sung note, tho I don't quite understand what you mean about you will hear a vibration when it is not right. My original might be off. Is there a way to tell, a non-objective one, like, a guitar tuner or website I could use just to see, if my original note is not 1/4 off? Thanks LOVE the vids! I'm obsessed now.

Many vocal coaches are doing reaction video. They are watching singers that their viewers recommend, and commenting on the techniques used. They use these singers to show examples of how some vocal techniques are employed. These vocal coaches get 10s of thousands of subscribers in a month or so. One of them Tara Simon Studio was given an award by KZbin recently for achieving a certain milestones. I bet you could easily attained these achievements too. I hope you could react to my favourite singer from Kore,a Kim Sohyang. If you have not heard of her, please react to her and be blown away. She is probably the best female vocalist in the world at the moment, imho. The link can be found here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eWfMeZtqrqeredE PS: You have to pause the video several times in order to give your inputs. That will hopefully circumvent the copyright issue.

Please remove or drastically lower the background music. It's extremely annoying!
