You have a literally saved my life. I am almost 30 days sober from smoking dabs and weed for over 20 years and I couldn’t be happier. I am pursuing my own business. I am living a life of freedom. I feel so free and so happy now. thank you for all you said is really help me get through the worst of times.

My life is relatively successful which makes me think weed isn’t a problem. Yet, deep down, I know it’s keeping me in the wrong mindset. Especially the “what’s the point” mindset which carries into so many other things that I know I deserve and could achieve easily. I’m day 1 right now and I already know if I can quit it will snowball into other areas of my life Also, the addition mindset is insane. And it’s insane that we identify with it. I’m into spirituality and see the addiction to substances as the same as our addiction to suffering and ego. It’s so powerful and we don’t even notice it until we “call it out” as you said. Powerful stuff man. Cheers

Hi. I relate to everything you talked about. I am now on day 3 of not using delta 8 and 9 thc vapes. I did have 15 years of sobriety from crack, pot and alcohol but relapsed on those vapes. I thought I could control it, after all it's only thc. I got addicted from the first hit of delta 8 thc vapes. I am not having any physical withdrawal symptoms but the mental craving hits me the most in the evenings. I was debating going out to buy another thc vape until I saw your video. I'm going to wait another day and hopefully the craving will pass. Thank you for what you do.

Dr. Frank I would love your perspective on losing sight of who you used to be before addiction took over. I wanted to recapture the confident happy person I was before weed. I got so entrenched in the marijuana world that I nearly forgot who I was. My main motivation has always been a knowing that I was a much happier person before active addiction. I miss that person and want more than anything to find him again and live the rest of my life rebuilding that person.

I have subscribed to your channel , and have bookmarked a lot of your videos in my browser , and also sent those link to myself via email (just in case) . Week 6 here and this anxiety is the worst body anxiety. Can you explain the dangers of THC-O? I smoked it heavily for a month. I was on it 24/7 that whole month basically and when I stopped I had insomnia, diarrhea, stomach cramps, anxiety/depression, sweats, chills, and panic attacks. Like I said the anxiety is still there just more manageable and less intense but when it does act up it it’s the worst. I only get this type of anxiety after drinking alcohol the night before.

Hi dr, I think you should mention that some people when they get off weed, like me, besides irritability and other things they can also get intrusive thoughts, ruminating thoughts telling themselves over and over to quit ect… so obsessive thinking it’s really bad. I noticed that it was a problem after smoking it for three weeks every day, I went for a surf in the morning and I didn’t have any, and I should be enjoying it but I was just angry and having intrusive ruminating thoughts, same thought over and over again type thing. I felt like I didn’t have any joy unless I had it. That’s when it became a problem and it only took 21 days to get fully addicted. and I was only smoking litte amounts but doing it every day. I’m glad I am day 4 quiting because it Allways ends up same result for me, starts off nice but then addicted then try to get off it and feel this anxiety over thinking type symptoms. It’s not good for mental health that’s for sure
