@ oh for sure. I think every single person in a boat should wear one always. I’m from Long Island New York so I’ve lived on the water my entire life. As kids we all took the boating courses since we all had boats and all our dads are either firemen or police officers so everything is about safety. My brother is an ER doctor and he sent me pic of my son on the boat and I laughed as he of course had my son wear one. I just love how he would never not allow my son on without one. You just never know what could happen. Remember that one girl from Glee? I always think of her story and how if she just had one on she’d still be here. Her son was left on the boat by himself for a couple hours 💔

yes deedee, people make all kinds of excuses as to why they shouldnt, as in "it would have happened anyways" but the cold hard truth is, if you are wearing a life jacket, its a lot more likely the searchers will be able to find you, whether your praying to God (to float you to shore) OR (bcus you already in heaven) talking to God directly. Kids usually dont understand or think of this, and that is perfectly natural & normal, they're just kids, the "i AM mortal" ideal usually doesnt kick in until about 25 yrs old. to those who disagree, argue all you want, with yourselfs. This is heartbreaking 💔. I had life long friends that spent every summer at Dolphin Island. They ended moving back home about 1.5 yrs ago. The husband came down with cancer and passed. The kids had moved down by their parents. They all came home and moved everything back once the dad passed. This place was so peaceful. My visits were such great memories. Now, the dad is gone and he was as much to me as a dad as a dad could be. This breaks me for the precious momma. I'm so incredibly sorry for the pain and deep hurt she is having to endure. Praying the Lord wraps His arms around her and helps her through this horrific loss. 🙏

They’ve got thin jackets now that go over your neck and shoulders, they will automatically deploy when you hit the water. They are unencumbered for the heat in the summer nand don’t get in the way of your arm movement or in small spaces like an engine room
