People who have to provide an elaborate explanation beyond a yes or no answer and those who repeat what was initially asked are lying. It’s a mechanism to give the individual time to think.
@MrBean1142 жыл бұрын
Although that's partially true, that's not completely accurate. Trying to defend yourself against an aggressive statement is more often than not impossible with only saying yes or no, especially in court, where lawyers are trained to manipulate the language in a way to get the answer they need. How would you properly defend yourself only using YES or NO as your answer if I asked: "Do your parents know that you are a toxic abuser?". Obviously, this is not something that would happen in court, I just want to provide an example. Not that I'm trying to say Amber Heard is not lying, to me it's crystal clear that she is, I just think that the urge to expand your answer from a simple YES or NO isn't necessarily a showing of you lying. On the other hand, I completely agree with you that people who constantly repeat the initial question are only buying time for them to think of a proper answer. Then again, being questioned in a courtroom by highly trained and experienced lawyers can be very stressful and even if you are not lying, you can twist your tongue and your brain can freeze.

Johnny was being told he was amazing for 30 years and may have had an ego when things didn't go his way and thought he could abuse. Yes, narcissists lie, triangulate, gaslight, triangulate with sexual partners, rarely take accountability for their behaviors/actions, degrade their partners self worth over time. The only escape is to go "grey rock" and have zero contact. Otherwise the parasitic narcissist will continue with their abuse. On top of that, I think she is a psychopath. He is lucky he got out alive. Everybody should watch the movie "Single White Female" because it reminds me of this case.

As vile as this woman is. She brought the whole world together against her. Gotta give the credit where its due.

This is true but with this she still couldn't win an academy award... acting is far from being her calling. Modeling either.. ranching is where it's at

"I had to hit his body" ... cannot even say whom she hit specifically. Discounts the existence of his soul, his mind, his feelings. Even on the stand, the abuse continues.
