Dawn Woods needs to face charges, put on the stand, and out behind the clinkers. She gave this evil thing freedom, harboured a felon (Brooks had warrants during the time she bailed out, housed him and fed this woman beater\pedo) she gave this man the murdering weapon, she endlessly supported him through the entire trial not only emotionally but attempted to free him with fluke information. That if the court wasn't thorough through the investigation most likely, like prior cases would have walked with a slap on the wrist. She deserves to be brought to justice.

Well, I guess he shouldn't have sent his attorneys away! The judge does not have to explain the law to him. In fact, she runs the risk of having it to be a mistrial if she does. She's not to offer him advice! That's like acting as his attorney. He just doesn't know when to shut up! He defies her in every way he can like here, refusing to sit down! I can't stand this monster!

Are you talking about judge John Russo? That’s not proper court decorum, he had to recuse himself and issue an apology. I doubt you’ve seen that multiple times. If she had taped his mouth he’d have legitimate grounds for appeal and a new trial. That’s exactly why the judge Russo had to recuse himself. Judge Darrow isn’t that stupid, she was extremely careful to give him a fair trial without bias.

Subject matter jurisdiction is the authority or power that each court has over certain types of legal disagreements (disputes). For a court to hear a particular case, it must have subject matter jurisdiction over the issue or issues that you are asking the court to decide on. This court had no jurisdiction and Brooks' case should be dismissed.

@@beverleyferguson8942 Well, he was rushed to judgement numerous times, they never proved subject matter jurisdiction and never established who the plaintiff was. I mean, a defendant has a right to face his accuser, but they never brought out anyone who had filed a complaint in the matter. Further, one witness said there was a hispanic male driving the car. So, conflicting reports should have been an easy acquittal. The way they did him was wrong.
