Trump could do a much better job of explaining what he is doing as well. He could use social media to do it. And then link that to the importance of the mid terms to help him accomplish his goals. I did not vote for him in 2016 (nor anyone else). But two years into his first term I happened across a video of him meeting with a dozen or so Republican Governors at the WH. And they were raving about how well their states were doing economically with his policies and that they were just getting started. Occasionally one would say as much but added that they just needed one other thing to really take off. And Trump was like, You got it. I voted for him in 2020 / 2024. But 2024 was for a lot more than just the economy!
