Lookin good Mike. Don't forget to run a cat-6 cable underground when you do the electric, as that steel will block a lot of your WIFI signal from your house. A nice shop like that needs good WIFI, trust me. Heck, you should run a gas line for a nice shop heater, and water to have a sink while your at it. I am very glad I did that with mine.
@BiffsEquipment2 жыл бұрын
That’s a really good idea Ron, glad you mentioned it actually, I was planning to just use WiFi out there but your right with the tin roof and sides the signal strength will be trash. I’ll def have to pickup 100’ Cat 6E Ethernet cable to go out to the barn so I can have good internet access out there as I plan to put a smart TV out there at some point and maybe a laptop. Thanks for the comment, hope your doing well!

Thanks Gary! Yes indeed! I was very happy with the color choice we went with, it matches the house and shed perfectly! Can’t wait to have it done, just keep picking away at it but still lots more work to be done, hope your doing well 👍🏻

Yeesh it’s gonna be a lot of work to get done before the weather turns.. just hope I can get those things done as the rest of the work can be done from inside the barn once I’m done!

Haha thanks Jim, glad you enjoyed it! It’s quite interesting watching them go up and watching the work that goes into them.. they def look a lot simpler than they really are but overall they aren’t too bad specially if you have a few guys who really know what they are doing. You’ll have to let me know how your build comes along!

Awesome progress! Love the colour
@BiffsEquipment2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Ross! Congrats on hitting 1k subs btw! KZbin is a brutal place to be and very hard to make a decent living but keep it up and you’ll do great. As for the colors of the barn I was really happy to see how well they matched the house and shed, I never held the color codes against it, just kinda took a guess/gamble it would match haha.

@BiffsEquipment2 жыл бұрын
Haha yah buddy! Def is a leg workout after climbing ladders for days on end! You can feel it in your legs for sure but it’s a great workout, who needs the gym when you can do real work and get things accomplished as your giving your body a workout haha.

Can't wait to see it finished, are those buddy that are helping you, or are they pros that you are helping. That is going to be great this winter, hope you get it done before it gets cold and snows.
@BiffsEquipment2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Mike! I’m crossing my fingers We can get it all done before winter, it’s gonna be close but if we stay at it we should be able to get it all done I think before the snow starts to fly so we have a nice place to do work this winter! The one guy (my builder) is def a pro, he’s built many of these pole barns but the rest of us are helping! Thanks for watching hope your doing well!

Thanks Jon! It’s been going pretty smooth, my builder is a very smart guy who has built many of these pole barn kits, we have all been learning a lot as we build this barn and it’s been a great experience to build it ourselves. Hopefully we will have it fully closed in with in the next video or close to it because then I need to get going on the concrete, electrical, water, and gas. Thanks for watching!

Looking great Mike! Can`t wait on the concrete pour! This new shop will be a blessing for you come winter-time over there where you live! I`m down in Watkins Glen, i know you get hit alot harder then we do down here where i live.
@BiffsEquipment2 жыл бұрын
Thanks man! Yes it’s gonna be a blessing to have for sure come winter! I’m a little nervous I won’t have it all done in time but if I can just get the floor poured, electric over there, along with gas and water, the rest I can do on the inside as I let it snow! Yes your not very far from me! I use to love going to Watkins glen when I was a kid and watching the races! Hope your doing well buddy, stay safe!

Looking great, I have a 24` X 35` barn up now, but making plans to build another one the same size by December. Great job, keep those videos coming.
@BiffsEquipment2 жыл бұрын
Very cool man! How you liking the size? It’s pretty much the same size as mine only a little longer.. I wish I coulda went longer but because I had to stay 50’ off the road I couldn’t go any longer.. I coulda went a few feet wider but then I woulda been really into those tree roots from either side so I stuck with 24x32.. I figure some year I’ll cut some trees out of the way and add a lean too cuz you can never have enough space as they fill up quick! Prolly why you are wanting a second barn huh?
@tekker83082 жыл бұрын
Incredible amount of work in this video. Was that all in 1 day?
@BiffsEquipment2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Tekker! No this was done in about 2-3 days time, but not full days worth of work since we can all only get together on the weekends to do it but we are getting there now and I’m happy with the progress we have made lately, by the next video you guys shoild be fully caught up pretty much on where I’m at. Thanks for watching!

Good for you! What amp service are you going to run to your shop?
@BiffsEquipment2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Scott! Def gonna run a 200 amp service, we are gonna run a new service from the pole at the road to the barn, then dig from the barn back to the house to reconnect power to the house.. I think this is the best way of doing it and most practical as well. Hope your doing good buddy!
