Actually, you would be amazed by how easy it is. Not knowing about all the stuff that other people are absorbed by actually can improve the quality of one's participation in the world. Not everything that can be consumed actually contains much nutritious value. Fran indulges in the highly nutritious stuff.

Fran? Honestly, you slay me. In every video, you slay me. I don't know why I find you so damned funny, but I do. If you ever decide to travel (not likely now), would LOVE to have you stay in Western AU> I already know your response- lol. Offer stands, wonderful woman!

What was Jessie doing up on the stage? He looked scared or no knowing what to say, but then again, with someone like Fran next to him, who is bigger than life, I can sorta understand

That was Jimmy's fault. There's no reason to have 2 guests on at once unless there's some conversation involving both of them. But Jimmy was so overwhelmed by Fran - and really incapable of talking to her, much less to both Fran & Jessie - that Jessie was left sitting there like a schmuck who should have gone home an hour ago. Still, if they were doing a segment about Jews with curly dark hair from NY & NJ, they should have included ME! I have plenty to say about NYC and would have been happy to sit next to Jessie like we were part of a family reunion that included our aunt who is always in a bad mood.

I miss talk shows where the host would actually the guest do most of the talking. The Dick Cavett Show was maybe the best one.

You'd think Fran and Jimmy would be like oil and water because, well, you know, she made a career of sincere observations and no laughter and he's been known to give applause breaks for blinks. But they actually seem to get along. Who knew?
