Lots of inaccuracy in this reportage by Phillip Turle. Map of India is incorrect. Total voters is 986 millions. At 1.40 Phillip said Manmohan Singh proposed that wealth from those wealthy will be taken from rich and distributed among the lower castes(so-called) and Muslims. in 2006. Thats incorrect since he never said anything on wealth distribution in 2006. However, the actual statement made by Manmohan Singh was that - 'First right on Indian resources lies with especially Muslims'. The exact same statement he re-iterated in 2009 that he insists that the first right on all Indian resources lies with Muslims. The wealth distribution statement came in 2024 election campaign by Rahul Gandhi who said he will x-ray the rich for wealth, cash and gold and then distribute them to the poor. The above statements are dangerous for the economy as an open competitive market is going to be run down by a hyper socialist drive. That will lead to all businesses, wealth creators, entrepreneurs to cease to exist as there will be no incentive for performance, excellence. Its a shame that the so-called reporter Phillip Turle puts it so romantically silently killing all principles of capitalism and free market. Btw, Modi simply clubbed the two dangerous, biased and communally appeasing statements of Manmohan Singh and Rahul Gandhi - both from the opposition congress party; and asked a question to the people that will they like to part away from their hard owned wealth and gold to be snatched away from them and distributed to the Muslim minority who as per latest data have the highest and indiscriminate birth rate. The Muslim population have grown by 45% since 1947 while other religious groups have gone down sizably. Modi spoke the truth and verbatim. If truth hurts France 24, its a pity. But they should atleast do some fair reporting. Besides there is a real problem of Muslim Rohingya's illegal immigration in India which the opposition parties with its appeasement politics want to share wealth with. Its similar problem that exists with refugees in Europe and UK too. If not why is EU and UK not letting in all refugees from Africa, Middle-east ? Why is Rwanda plan being executed ? How can there be one yard stick for Europe and another for India - already a super populated country. At 4.10 you said Human rights group say its a hate speech but how is telling truth becoming hate speech. Also who are these human rights groups - all backed by George Soros and Ford foundation :) !! Atleast once France 24 show the facts that - Unemployment data of 2023 shows unemployment rate in India is 3.1%, much better than all large economies. Besides if France 24 studies all social and economic schemes and work done by the BJP government and Modi that they would understand 80% have favorable opinion about Modi. Honestly this is not the first biased report by France 24 but its actually shameful. They should do some homework and not appear biased.
