He continues to teach young men about masculinity (search for his videos on the KZbin channel “21 Convention”) and returned to the religion of his father, Christianity. Highly recommended! Frank is a big fan and longtime friend of Elliott’s. I also noticed he supported Elliott in the comments of a recent critical documentary about him. They made collaborations in the past and I believe Frank also attended Elliott’s annual fitness competition. Worth digging up those videos, though keep in mind they’ve both evolved so much since then, lol.

I beleive that all is god having a separate physical experience within itself, to expand within itself, and goals and acheivment are a necessary part of that expansion. What you really did, is just shift your goals from ahceivment to exploring life, and while that may have been good for you, it may not be authentic for everyone. True consciousness is all things at once and nothing, it is beyond words.

If enlightenment made you give up bodybuilding then it would also make you give up meditation. The character still has preferences there is just no attachment. If the character had no preferences then you wouldn’t even meditate or sit still after enlightenment because that would mean you had a preference for meditation or sitting still. The preferences are just seen for what they are which is the force of nature expressing itself through the character. If your character has a natural preference for lifting then it will lift. Like frank said, he still lifts he just doesn’t count calories or care about his progress because he is not attached. He just lifts because that’s what the frank yang character does.

Makes it all more relatable, even though you actually can not think of it or put it into concepts. It is not even an IT, but at the same time IT IS and IS not. My character just does not want to step out of his comfort zone and die. He doesn't want to do 1000 doses of 5-MeO-DMT or 2 week long Vipassana retreats. On the other hand you can only really overcome all suffering and remember your true SELF, when the ego dies and you become all and nothing...

Does he view god as consciousness exploring itself, or what exactly, since his videos are confusing, and I'd love an answer. Second, as fascinating as all these theories are, there is still potential that they are wrong. Keeping that in mind, as a human, living a human life, you can't not be attached to anything, spiritual people are attached to spiritual things, Frank is attached to his beleifs on consciousness and being. It's the way humans are. When you die, I am guessing that one of the theories similar to the whole non duality theme (not sure what to call frank's philosophy) will be true, but that is not guaranteed. But in the case, that it is true, and you just are, you would have to quite literally die and leave your physical perspective here on earth to acheive that level of being that is beyond words, and sustain it permanently.

Frank. I've watched you for years. My question to you, is what are you actually pursuing? Like, what is the purpose of your pursuit to "awakening"? You "appear" to have gone down the metaphysical rabbit hole of consciousness. It is quite interesting, but, where does that lead? Death? I say this in a completely sentimental way. To what "ends" are you reaching? Does the journey "end", if ever? If, to say, human consciousness is as limitless as the universe, where is the "end", but strangely enough, where is the "begin"? And ultimately, what is the "end game" of these end(s)?

I've ended my search for enlightenment and consciousness since my "final awakening" on May 25th 2020. I still practice, but no more goals and purpose. (There's ever deeper and more infinite refinements of Realization) I've documented my journey from before the shift and yes I was going down the rabbit hole of consciousness, you have to before you wake up. After the shift there is no more hole, no more consciousness, no more questions nor answers. When Being directly connects to Itself through and through. I've closed the circuit and haven't looked back. Feel free to check out those 2 videos for a more thorough explanation of what this means. Daniel Ingram's "Mastering the Core Teachings of the Buddha" is mentioned in the citations. Ingram has had some interesting experiences since he wrote that book: www.integrateddaniel.info/my-experiments-in-actualism Ingram also has a version 2 out. If you are considering doing Vipassana, or Dharma maps, it's a good book. He has a website too where people can compare experiences when they try different things. I agree with Ingram that it is good for people to be forthright about what they did and what happened as a consequence. The traditional Buddhist refusal to discuss personal experience publicly really limits the effectiveness of the techniques. IMO vipassana is scary as hell. Too many people go manic depressive. Actualism is worth a try, and Jeffrey Martin's trial and error approach is worth trying IMO, if you can spare an hour a day.
