Listening to it right now and saw that it was a year old so listening how it compares to today's annual check up, Doctor Frank. Heyyy...you said ESFPs are awesome...huh. Oh yeah, in older video you said you wanted to be an ESFP instead of an INFJ when people were typing you as something other than INFJ which haha I see that you've been bringing up lately especially seeing the ol classic INFJ Frank James return....is it classic?..Wait a second...you had short hair in your video! I paused the video since I want to hear your thoughts because you're a likable guy and stand out amongst the internet so you don't require as much of a "why" behind your what reasonings if you just listed your likes for types kinda like with people close to us or people we like or think has good taste....then we don't need the why behind the what or kinda like how we think someone is good with tools, we can just ask them what tools to buy no questions asked or if someone has good taste in fashion just wear whatever they say...UNLESS...I don't like wearing pink, and yeah, I know in the past pink was considered a more masculine color while blue was more feminine and pink had that whole blood in the snow sorta deal but um violence is not masculine so...what I'm saying is....who knows? If you are an INFJ....waitasec, in this new video you called out Fe types other TRUE type- LIAR, in which case....waitasec...the fun hook of "What's Frank's type" is back, and oh, man, I still paused at your ESFP love...which wait now I gotta watch the ESFP segment of this video because I thought you backed ENFPs, ENTPs ISFJs ISFJs...but then...oh yeah you did say the LIAR thing so...wait what am I even whatever let me finish this and get back to...I forget...I think you're an INFJ: INFJ: 1. Ni 2. Ne- Being that Ni is an INFJ's dominant function conceptually, I think Ne would be ranked second among INFJs functions but if they don't get a chance to pull back or are just entertaining people like you, maybe that's why you might come across as an ENFP because we don't see what Ni goal you're ordering everything towards...I'm pretty sure it's to entertain people while helping people while making dough so you can cook the dough so you eat the dough because money don't grow on trees and if it did...the economy is brutal enough to even think about it...But this is why any INFJ can come across as an ENFP or INFP 3. Fe- Depending on how much they're interacting with people, they'll come across as an ENFJ and even in previous videos of yours where you suggested a pattern of judging doms always asking questions people could think that about your polls but have to take in consideration that we love the polls, and as you established in this being alone video in regards to ESTJs and ENTJs, you're an agreeable guy plus it helps your videos and....guys, check out the polls. They're fun! And if you're looking for someone to connect with, you'll probably find at least 5 people no matter what your personality is because there's so many cool people, and that's all thanks to you, Frank building up such a cool following with your fun friendly...uh oh I gotta go! You rock. ENFJs are considered the most likable type so maybe that's where it comes from. 4. Fi- This could be ranked higher depending on how much an INFJ spends alone trying to find things to connect people over and in my opinion...cuz everything else has been a fact so far haha...I think the Fi Si combo are the more intimate personable functions to help ground someone in having a personality, and the reason why we care so much what you like or dislike about types is because you have such a likable personality. Nothing to do with type. You said there could only be one INFJ, which, heh, is the INFJ thing THEY ARE THE ONE and also cue your Guy Fieri reference haha (hey, that might be a classic along with my favorite TANK JAMES haha. Before getting into your channel, I was thinking you might be an ENFP, not for a great reason but...in my experience ENFPs are the funniest type besides ESTPs and INTJs...although INFPs might be up there but I can think of famous funny ones at the moment besides Brian in Impractical Jokers...but Ne ways, Fi could also help you come across as an INTJ, which, conceptually I think should be one of the top types you could come across besides other NFs (yeah yeah yeah, I saw your charts in your previous lesson plan video...I get what you're saying but, hey, I'm writing this to try to defend your INFJ honor! haha But anyways, you did a fantastic video on INFJs and ISFJ not coming across so different but I think INFJs could also come across as all the NF types as well as an INTJ...and really could come across as any type if they're well developed because we all use all 8 functions every day, but it's like in your video about the grip, we'll see our type when the chips are down....and by type I mean if were the type of people who missed squat day if we have frog butt bending over picking up chips....hehe The point is...INTJ TANK JAMES 5. Ti 6. Te- This could be ranked lower depending on how much an INFJ is working with external logic 7. Se 8. Si- This could be ranked high depending on how much an INFJ spends alone and maybe could get higher due to something like depression where they reflect on the past a lot, or need it for work and taking care of health.... Oh, just unpaused the video and heard you love ESFPs and...ESTPs...so what happened this year? Frank man?!!! jk So, you can't stand ESFPs and ESTPs because you're too busy sitting down in awe of them. They are great. What's a famous ESFP....Lou Costello? I watched a documentary on him...funny guy...butt I still think from my experience ENFPs, ESTPs, and INTJs are the funniest. Haha just paused it again. This is a roast? You are agreeable man! haha I could learn from you...which is why I'm listening to these videos...whether or not I'm learning....unpausing the video again Uh oh. I finished your video, uh, never mind...even I'm too agreeable to say THAT! Woah! jk haha The point is that I was more convinced you were an INFJ more than anyone and one of the best MBTI people besides you is the ENTP ZombiesRuinEverything (my gauge for ENTP), wrote an article called "Type you Most Wanna..." And for INFJ, he wrote "Type You'd Most Wanna Restore Your Faith in People", and I think you...don't really know you...but I think you're one of the most decent creators ever so it's nice if you get to relax a bit and share yourself instead of always trying to gauge everybody's sensibilities to make so many happy all time and...let me read the comments for a second...hang on...scrolling down....yeah, everybody loves you being you. That's why you don't have to give the "why reasoning" behind what you like. You can just give the "what information" and people are happy to hear from you because you're so great Frank man.

For me it’s externally processing I don’t need other people I just need to talk aloud the other person might as well be cardboard. I also don’t get linear conversation or social conversation boundaries (because Fe goes out the window when Ne joins the convo which is like immediately) so any topic or idea is on the table for me and then I talk, jump from idea to idea with little consistency (or logic, but there is logic somewhere in there), getting very excited about these random things and the other person normally gets taken aback, but becomes intrigued and if by the end I haven’t alienated them a friendship is formed (and by that I mean I find an introvert and kidnap/adopt them- all my friends nearly are introverts)

Good manners and being polite were drilled into me from an early age. 😂 It also helps that I find lots of things really interesting. I have very wide and eclectic interests, and I love learning about new things. And sometimes seeing how passionate and excited someone else is about a topic will make me happy to listen because it makes me happy to see them so happy and excited. I've also worked with children a lot. If I can pretend to be interested in talking about Spiderman for forty-five minutes straight, I can do anything 😂

Exact same. I'm an INFP from the South as well. Whenever the topic of conversation goes into something I'm interested in, I can talk someone's ear off, and they'll probably think I'm very social (usually with other college kids). However, family reunions are awful for me. They talk about things that don't interest me at all, so I just sit there, not talking to anybody the entire time I'm there. There's barely anyone my age, or in college, or been to college, or even remotely near my political stance. They talk about jobs, and starting a family, and car troubles, and it's hell. But plop me in a conversation about movies, TV shows, music, or games I've never experienced but watched a review of that one time, and I'm golden!

As an INFP I'd most likely have a book with me and would read that. But if I'd notice from the other person attempts to have a conversation I'd be glad to have one. I've become very good at small talk during the last 30 years and it is true that I'm also very good at pretending to be more interested than I really am. I'm also good at making people talk about things that really matter to them very quickly, so usually things become more interesting for me quite soon in a conversation. I often end up listening to the problems of people I've never met before and prefer that over small talk. Don't expect though to ever hear about my problems. I try to hide them even from myself 😂

But talk to me about your personal trauma? 😳 God, *…no!* Not unless you’re a close friend, then I will do my very best to comfort and support. I’m a very private person and prefer acquaintances to have similar boundaries. We can bond sharing interests until a certain level of trust is established (if it ever is). Instead of small talk, tell me how you think capitalism may need to change in light of the worsening effects of climate change; what you think of the inculcation of religious values into public policy; or the creeping authoritarianism across the globe; or even *why* you chose your particular career path. Even if your opinions differ from mine, it’ll be a deeper and more interesting conversation than, “Hey, how ‘bout those Cubs?” And we each may walk away having actually learned something.

I am an INTJ (female) who was often stuck in small room with another INTJ (im talking closet space, had to watch carefully we didnt touch on accident lol or invade eachothers space out of need for propriety and resect). Honestly I followed them around cause I liked them. They didn't like it at first but eventually we talked about anything for hours lol. I think they liked my boldness, bluntness and sense of humor. I think they secretly missed me when I stopped coming over to the tiny room and share all my cool ideas in that closet, but things end and I had to move on. Still good times. I honestly think they disliked me at first cause they were trying to push me away but once I made a joke about them and it made them laugh so much that they secretly liked my interaction, but they were so severely introverted and odd and terrible at expressing feelings that they kinda shoved me away and I'm an INTJ too lol (I think female intjs are more extrovert-like imo). When we get in a conversation about something we are both passionate about, it is amazing! It can last all night and I think about it for days. But often we just hang out with him playing video games and me reading webcomics or something, and it is totally chill and fun. Sometimes it is awkward being stuck in a room with him, especially when he's having one of the little explodey tantrums - but at least they don't last long. As for my infp son, it's always interesting when he emerges from his room, because he will have something hilarious to say, or interesting that he just learned about, or a story idea he just has to bounce off of us. But since we are all introverts we don't mind him having his alone time most of the time. However - our daughter is apparently esfp. Poor girl. She drives us crazy with the constant need for attention and background noise and cuddles and company, and we drive her crazy by needing a break from her. I really do feel for her however, and look for opportunities for her to hang out with other kids as much as possible.

9:10 my brother is an INTP and he gives endless monologues on whatever he is intrested in at that moment (he's become better at interacting with me during the monologue, but mostly it is just him talking and me listening), because of him, I've become quite skilled at listening to this kind of Ti monologues, so two other INTP's I know (both from school, but in different years) have found out that I'm able to listen to their whole monologue even if it's about a topic I know nothing about and thus I now have three INTP's that come to me when they want to share what they are intrested in.

ENTP with a chance of INFP for the win. These are the types of my children (17&21), and though we have our 'moments', they are fairly rare. Many times are we hanging out in a room together quietly pursuing our own thing and enjoying each other's energy. Course in other cases we are ignoring the gaming monologue of my ENTP son who insist on verbalizing every outrage. "OMG how did I miss?!!! I shot at his head but he picked up a banana"

Since I was an INFP raised by an ESFJ mom, also mostly because I feel really bad when I'm trying to talk about something that matters to me but people don't really care, I try my best to sincerely listen to people even when I'm not in the mood or when I can't be interested in what they're saying. It's not simply about courtesy, but my Fi justifies it as the authenticity of what OTHER people are feeling and I appreciate that most of the time. Small talk is of course off the charts in this case. I won't even try to talk to someone who's trying to make small talk. I'll look at something and bring up an idea which they might be interested about delving into just to analyze. I might come off as too logical or analytical sometimes but I'll validate your ideas just fine!

I disagree with labeling the INXJ as limited in perspective. Their whole world finds patterns and perpetually redefine boundaries as they are open to ideas different than their own. It's exciting discovering the why and you can't do that in a bubble.

Well worded
@sarahberkner Жыл бұрын
I would disagree and say they're naturally resistant to viewpoints that different from their own, although healthy INxJs can work on that of course. They have a big idea of what is true and how the world works and if something doesn't fit with that they might not say anything but they'll be resistant to accept it. I'm ESTJ so I'm the same with Te, I usually won't say anything but if people act in a way that I think is illogical it bothers me, even though to a lot of people it wouldn't really matter.

I'm an infj and I talked quite a bit to someone I think is an infp and spent awhile with friends I think were infp or infj, when we talked we sorta knew when our "world" was felt and where the boundaries were, but actually were surprisingly happy each time and we never really punched something we knew the other was "fixed on" so if there was a "fact" that for any reason isn't true anymore (there's a lot of potential reasons) we knew the other person wouldn't budge much we would just say a part that was close and we probibly knew but with a little that we probibly don't know, and it's sorta a "hey I disagree with that thing, but ur view is just as strong as mine, why don't you go reread that sector, I'll prob do same" and we arnt really expected to remember the question just what it was pointing lol

But I must say, I am married to an INTJ and we are the only ones to understand each other and actually enjoy life when we are stuck together in a room for 2.5 years (COVID). But yes, we both challenge each other because I say, you want milk,”, and he says, the milk can be found on the counter, instead of yes/ no, answer. But we need to kind of constantly ask each other what do you mean. When it comes to being stuck with those who are the opposite of us, I’ve learned to simply say NO and not allow them to force their actionism on me. But I’m a sometimes extroverted (want to achieve things) person and need to pull myself back to not drive the others crazy because I become more emotion. I'm an INFJ- most people I interact with irl think I'm boring because I barely have anything to say. Incredibly accurate! 😂 It is also really easy to bond with ISFP and INFP because once you get past the introversion, an EXFJ can get so much out of them. Seeing as we are focused on others and what they value and how they feel. So, I would rather be locked in a room with them, as with another EXFJ, we would always be trying to get stuff out of each other with no break.
