The more we focus our awareness onto one object, the more things starts to disappear. In our current state we all stretch our awareness across multiple objects and most of these objects are just aminations. The deeper and more concentrated your awareness the easier you can differentiate between the permanent and impermanent. Awareness is the ultimate tool to freedom, hone it and master it.

So you become enlightened to play videogames and eat delivery food and take photos of it 24/7. The world needs more men like this, Taiwan with its location especially. God bless Christianity, it also leads to conquering "the inner man", but it's so much fuller as it doesn't lead to you being a child-man who only cares about himself and secular unimportant stuff.

The Thing with the suffering without a sufferer is that for example when i Lift weights, this "perspective" helps a lot for pushing Limits, But there is allways a Point the self Drops Back and cant Take it anymore, Same thing Happens when im meditating on emotional/conditioned pain. Maybe its just Like Standing on a Cliff and at one Point you Just Take the jump into the Pool i guess but i Wonder If there are Any efficient techniques. Like splitting the sensation up in smaller parts or something Like that. bc some of them Just seem to be unbearable all at once Thank you very much for your content btw im allways super hyped its really helpful and Motivating!

I do appreciate your efforts in bringing awareness to the concepts of non-duality to unaware souls. However, the teaching of it should only be left to the fully realized souls (ie. Those who have completely destroyed the individual ego). Otherwise, it just ends up being the blind leading the blind, which can be dangerous when traveling such a path. Safe travels on your spiritual journey, Frank.

You got any specific recommendations for ptsd/cptsd? I was bullied alot growing up along with other bad stuff that happened to me and it developed negative thinking/self doubt. Ive recognized my thoughts as just thoughts which helps but I still get massive anxiety attacks because of the physical muscle memory/trauma related to those thoughts. So i know how to analyze the thoughts as just a mundane experience but idk how to stop the physical trauma. My muscles get so tense and i feel fearful. I get paralyzed. The tense shoulders, tight chest, nausea, pressure around my skull, etc. How do i stop it and feel good and confident about my existence and choices.

Hey Frank, do you think that suffering is a way the universe pushes you into awakening? It seems like getting over hardships deepens my soul and increases my overall capacity to feel. But yeah obviously it's all just noise and bs and it's all a hologram but still.
@frankyang2 жыл бұрын
Yes …pretty much anything that allows your brain to adapt to new stressors and stimuli will transcend it to a new height, no different from lifting more weights. Even listening to music or watching movies that aren’t your taste can lead to brain plasticity. Traveling. Putting yourself in a completely new environment. Try out things that make you feel uncomfortable. Meeting new people, doing pick ups, having stimulating conversations and maintaining meaningful relationships are also great ways to create new pathways for the brain. Studies show that regions of the pre-frontal cortex thickens after a person overcomes and recovers from traumas. You are basically training your mind by “lifting suffering”. Don’t waste suffering, use it. It is the key to making progress on the path to #liberation.

hey frank, If i was going to make a program for an hour of practice, would it be good to split if up into three parts? say 20 minutes concentration practice just watching the breath, then 20 minutes noting, and finishing with 20 minutes do nothing to get everything out of it. what do you think? I used to do just noting for say 45 minutes, but i feel as if my ability to relax and let go as well as my ability to concentrate on one object has become weaker as a result. Would love to hear your view on this, thanks bud :)
