HFY is a story/series that takes a “human element” in either humanity or an “other” (race/species or object) that exists in a “setting” (future or other world/universe) with varying levels of culture, technology, society and history that help show in some shape or form the potential good or bad for humanity’s race/culture. In These stories Humans are often referred to as Human, Humanity, Deathworlder, Hellwolder in reference to the human planet of origin , Earth. This planet is seen by most of the universe as a place where only death and chaos can survive.

Humans Are Space Orcs (HASO) or Humans Are (Fantasy Race) Are used as a guide when writing.
In these Stories we normally View humans like the other races view orcs in a Fantasy Novel. We (Humans) share the same characteristics and personalities as orcs. Humans are normally treated as the outsiders and barbarians. Humans tend to be underestimated as well in these stories. Unlike Humanity Feck Yea , these don't always put a positive spin on humans\humanity sometimes looking at the darker side of human and humanity from the perspective of aliens.

I find it especially funny that this group of humans apparently came together and thought up to sell rickrolling as a pledge of dedication to the aliens. That, or or the human government itself found the Idea funny to rickroll literally any xeno they come across just because they can. Just imagine how many Jokes and Memes humanity could throw out into the wider galaxy, with the Aliens being none the wiser. Clearly, most of the more childish humans would be giggling nonstop, just because they found some random meme etched into a tool, or hidden inside some machinery another human took apart earlier.

I told him no hard feelings, as long as i do not find another cub hurt by his traps. Next time , i'll brake more that his floating ribs. Invited him to stay for a drink, then this popped up! Guest or no, i'm not gonna miss on an agro narration. No way no how. Very few things can distract me enough, to miss on your stories. An injured cub is one of them. I take exception when people mess with my food supply. Took a few centuries to lure the bears down here, and bread them to taste like they do. So i get upset when one gets hurt. Upset not angry. If i was angry, the compound would be ash with no survivors. I know what he is. I was there when his kind emerged. Remember i have the memories of several gods to call upon. I chose carefully , after the first time. No angels in my collection, though. No fly boys , no techs. Still can't operate their air vehicles. The rest get paranoid when i suggest we bring some humans in. I canot understand it . This is Your legacy more than ours. Longevity drugs or not, we will not be around forever. Immortal we are not. Not even the gods were immortal. All flesh dies, all data get corrupted, immortality is a dream nothing more.
