Alex knows exactly what the cost is if he fails he knows the risk he take and yet he still takes the risk and still achieve what he sets his mind onto. To climb free solo must be one of the most insane things you can do apart from going into war on front line and surviving battles. I honestly think that Alex is by far one of the greatest athletes to walk on earth. Yes he definitely not the strongest, yes he definitely not the fastest, but he definitely one of kind he not like other athletes he special and i wish him the best and i hope he can live long beautiful life have children and grandchildren and tell his grandchildren how bad a** he was back in the day cause he definitely is bad a** dude. Some people have said, well, Alex is not an extraordinary athlete so once the great athletes start to care about it, it may become fairly common. Not so sure about that. How does the risk of certain death add very much but sensationalism? Would that be even more impressive or just more foolhardy?)
