Chelsea, if you brother in going to add some shelves to the current closet, he might want to get the curver at the top of the closet correct. A 3/8" thick plywood or something of that nature should work for the taller vertical legs of the new shelves. To get the correct radius, arch of the railer, he can use upper cabinet where the key hooks are. He can use some cardboard to get the correct and then have a template. Just a thought. Will

I got tips! Totally doable. We traveled back and forth for our daughter's first year, starting at 14 weeks. My biggest piece of advice is to just be patient. There will be lots more stopping (at least that was our experience) and it can be frustrating, but changing my expectations helped A TON. Y'all got this!!!!!!

@@FreeandSimple Amazing, amazing. Yes - let's get together. I'm leaving my job to be a full-time writer / stay-at-home dad this April, so we're flexible and excited. Open invitation to come garden with us at our community garden and take anything you need/ want.

So excited for you guys!!! Love the bassinet in the corner idea! I guess you could always consider converting the closet to an open baby room?

Ha, maybe. But then where would our clothes go?!?! Naked Airstreamers?!
@airstreamvagabond4 жыл бұрын
Free and Simple ..... lol military fold everything! We learned how to fold tiny and it’s given us more space than the standard folding. By changing the way we fold, we were able to dodge being naked airstreamers 🤣

@@airstreamvagabond Military fold = Mari Kondo fold? We tend to keep our clothes folded pretty small but really are just running into the frustration of the hanging closet thing being a pain in the ass!

Thanks Joanna! We came from a one bedroom in NYC and people have babies there all the time, so this can’t be that hard, right?! We just don’t get all the amazing takeout options. ;)

My advice co-sleeping. My son is now 18 but he never had a crib. Worked great. He moved into his own bed at like 2.5 years. It made night nursing so much less stressful. Also if you can find a midwife or a doula. I loved my midwives (it was a midwife practice).

Thank you! We’re meeting with a midwife in a couple weeks and will be connecting with a doula next!
