Jerry and Linda sat down with SSgt. Irving Locker. He landed on Utah beach on D-Day, fought in The Battle of The Bulge, and was part of the forces that liberated Nazi death camps. What a story. At 99 years old, and only 5'1", he is a true American hero and a proud part of America's Greatest Generation.

Hi Jerry and Linda! My husband and I so enjoyed your show! We actually met Mr. Locker when visiting the Villages in January 2023. He was having breakfast at the restaurant we were at. When he and his party got up to leave, I noticed his WWII Veterans hat and was immediately star-struck! My husband and I thanked him for his service and felt honored to shake his hand! God Bless all our veterans, especially those that are fewer and fewer as the years tick bye! Thank you again for such a great show!

Very good. My dad was in Sicily and Italy in WWII. He didn’t really talk about it but I know he was a machinist and was more behind the lines. My mother who will be 96 this year had many friends who went to war and she wrote them all letters. She was surprised when those who made it back came calling. She was just trying to be supportive and they were dreaming about coming back to a girlfriend.
