I live 10 minutes outside Cincinnati and your recipe is very close to mine. I do boil my meat. It breaks down to a finer consistency that way. You put it in the fridge overnight after cooking and the fat rises to the top and you just remove it. I freeze it all the time. FYI - chili with spaghetti and cheese is called a 3-way. If you add onions it’s a 4-way. Also pour it over your hot dog in a bun and add cheese for a coney. Hope you both enjoy it.

Tried the Cincinnati Skyline Chili tonight. It was ... interesting. My husband and brother liked it. I felt like it had very strong flavours and sometimes tasted bitter and I assume that was the chocolate. I'm glad I tried it and if I had again I would want kidney beans in to make it more "chili-like"

OMG, I literally had a 15-meals session last week of only new recipes I collected and wanted to try at some point if I could make them into freezer meals. Such a coincidence hahaha. One thing I'm hesitant about with joining the club is the fact that you can't add your own recipes. It has been almost a year that I'm into freezer meals, mostly thanks to both of you and I'm so used to this thing of searching for recipes, making lists of ingredients, trying them out and keeping them into my little recipe book. I'd really like that feature ! Thank you for your great videos. Hugs from Belgium !
@FreezerMeals1012 ай бұрын
I’m interested to hear how your new recipes turn out. You can add your own recipes into the Club but you have to type them in manually. If you do decide to join, just email us afterwards and we will explain how to do it. It’s not as easy as just linking to a recipe. It does need to be typed in.

Christie we have a device in almost every room -- kids' bedrooms, living room, hallway bathroom (helps my son keep track of time in there with alarms and great for music while showering!) and our room which is where our desks are. And our vacuum/mop I can't remember the brand, but it is automatic and runs on a schedule my husband set. His name is Jaws --- which dates me! (Think Mr. Mom from the 80's!)
@FreezerMeals1012 ай бұрын
All of this is awesome! I'll admit I don't know the Mr. Mom reference. I'm not sure if I've ever seen Mr. Mom but I'm aware of it! lol I don't know what Jaws refers to... Maybe it's time for an 80s movie night!
@angiehartwich23822 ай бұрын
@@FreezerMeals101 "Where does your Mom keep the vacuum?" Kid: "You mean Jaws?" Those old vacuum cleaners from the 70's and 80's for sure would suck up anything in their path! LOL!!! 80's movies are still great -- just don't try to convince your kids to watch them with you. "This is stupid!" 🤣

They might be a bit too hard to chop in our onion chopper. Any dedicated potato chopper I've seen for making fries seems to be pretty heavy duty. I think our chopper is too lightweight for that personally.

Since all the recipes in this video were brand new, some made the cut and were sent to our photographer and will be in the Club very soon (the Sloppy Joes Casserole is already there and a number more will be there in the next week). Some were good, but not quite as good as we wanted, so we are tweaking them and then they will be in the Club. You know your Rover scans your home and has your data?🤔 You asked for it! The ultimate ground beef recipe: Cook maccaroni (elbow pasta) and add a little butter so they don't stick! Brown your beef, salt and pepper max. , add a little bit of beef broth to loosen the bits from the bottom and to make it saucy! Serve over maccaroni and add a side of simple apple sauce (not much sugar/NO cinnamon)! This is a well-loved lunch dish in the Swiss Military! If you're in a hurry, mix the apple sauce into your pasta dish and wolf it down! My children love it! It's called Hörnli und G'hackets!

What do you do if you have a peanut allergy

@s.kurzeck30202 ай бұрын
If you're craving nuts: Try dry roasting sunflower seeds in a non-stick pan till they are smelling nice, toss them into a dish, lace them with soy sauce and stir/toss! It is a cheap alternative for expensive pine nut salad toppings as well on any Italian Buffet! Implement cheap baking goods into your cooking: ground almonds, chopped hazelnuts! If you dry fry them (roast) off the better! Always be aware! On my daughters' end of school ball the party commitee contracted a lebanese caterer. WHO would put ground peanuts on a Buffet pilaf rice? Almonds, hazelnuts, pine nuts, No nuts at all... But peanuts? They offered him a shot of whisky " for his stomach", we left early and now he is carying an epi pen!

From what we've tried so far, the potato chickpea tikka masala is great (the sweet potato version is also great but the potato one is better), the one pot creamy sausage gnocchi is a hit, the roasted garlic sheet pans have a lot of potential but need some tweaking, the maple dijon sheet pan is awesome, the baked potato soup is a definite win, the slow cooker sausage and peppers was only so-so, both our families loved the sloppy joes casserole, the chicken turmeric soup is a keeper, the Mississippi meatballs need a cup of beef broth added to them, and the Greek chicken bites were as delicious in those pitas as I was hoping! We still have lots left to try but so far, we've found some definite "Club worthy" recipes!
