Loved your story about the new concept tasting Tree experience. Love that you took a potentially bad experience and had fun with it instead. You and your Husband must be great friends as well. Scary that you had that eye related Migraine happen. Glad your Husband happened along to help. Take care of you first and foremost. Eat as you go. Don't wait. Eat. We will all be waiting right here for you when you are ready. Had some sound issues with this one as well...why not? LOL Nothing that Closed Caption couldn't fix. Love you Girlie and way to push through! Christi is very proud of you. Peace!

About your experience- the symptoms are definitely scary, Sharla, especially when you don’t know what’s going on. I worked as an optician and a doctor’s assistant for 30 years so I am familiar with this type of headache and its symptoms. My husband experiences ocular migraines several times a year. Stress and dehydration are possible triggers. Take care of you💗💗

I immediately guessed a migraine when you were describing it. That happened to me once years ago, has not happened again.

Unfortunately it sounds more like a TIA ( a mini stroke) . I don't want to worry you but I also have them, if I remember I just chew a couple of asprin. But you should see your Dr.
@iamdreamom5 ай бұрын
@@JoanWakefield I thought the same thing. It sounds like a stroke, but I hoped for a migraine. Hopefully the Dr ruled that out….

Scary when you don’t know what it is. My first experience with a migraine was a partial loss of sight, without the migraine itself. So scary. Fortunately, never happened again, and that was nearly 30 yrs ago. Looking back, stress definitely played a factor.

I had occular migraines when I worked at Walmart in their deli, and I thought boy, this is freaky and almost asked to go home. I thought the smoke from the fryer may have caused them. I haven't had one since I stopped working there.

When the sun reflects and hits my eye the right way this happens to me. And then a migraine. When I first start seeing spots I immediately take pain killers to try to keep the migraine at bay. When measuring flour you should scoop it into your measuring cup with a large spoon or cup. Dipping your measuring cup directly into the flour compacks it and your are actually getting more flour in your cup then needed. Just wanted to share this tip. Love the videos and club ❤
@FreezerMeals1015 ай бұрын
Thank you for the tip. I am not a baker at all (I prefer cooking because I don't have to measure 😂) so it's good to learn these things.

As soon as you started describing your symptoms I knew it was an ocular migraine. I worked as an assistant for eye drs for almost 10 years. I’ve experienced OM many times in the last 20yrs and yet they STILL scare the heck out of me when they come on out of nowhere. Also. The V word you were trying to remember is vitreous detachment.
@FreezerMeals1015 ай бұрын
Yes! Vitreous detachment is the V word thing!

I am so glad the scary symptoms were not as serious as anticipated. I never heard of an ocular migraine, but you have probably helped quite a few of us should we experience one. But, I have a question - in the US we don’t use real maple syrup for a lot of things, but definitely on top of waffles and pancakes. You use maple syrup in cooking, but not on your waffles and pancakes? I am seriously puzzled 🤔.
@FreezerMeals1015 ай бұрын
It's common here to have it on pancakes and waffles as well. Sometimes berries and whipped cream hit the spot better! lol

Tree flour? Isn’t that called ‘sawdust’? LOL! The tasting menu you described reminded me of an old saying: just because you CAN do something doesn’t mean you SHOULD. 😁😂
@FreezerMeals1015 ай бұрын
😂 Apparently, pine flour is called cambium flour, but it sure tasted more like sawdust!
