Really enjoying this series (I have a few to catch up on now that I'm back). I've never been to the French, hopefully next year. LOVE the pizzas!

First time we did pizzas… and they turned out pretty good. A bit annoying carrying out the tin foil for a week, but the best thing about the French is very limited portaging!

Another great day! We took the more daring route and crossed the river at pineknot Island straight across to Wright Island. At midday in a strong wind. Lol. It was nerve-wracking.

Boats were a serious problem across that stretch.

@@davescanoeingadventures we tried to stay out of the main channel as much as possible… more remote feeling when ducking around the north side islands… and yeah, less boat traffic haha.

@@SingleMaltAndMaps lol so true. I found the boat of choice out there seemed to be pontoon boats. At least they don't kick up as large a wake.

Where was the camp the video ended on.

It was just past the Dam, little bay in the north west

@@SingleMaltAndMaps I hadn't realized there was a camp there. Awesome. Who knows how many camps we passed unknowingly. There are so many bays and inlets there.

@@davescanoeingadventures it was really close to the road… had a car and a side by side go by before dinner, but the rest of the night was quiet. If we had the energy we would have pushed further, but that site was decent enough for one night.
