The Halloween series has 4 different storylines. 1. H1 and H2 2. H1, H2, H4, H5, H6(best version is the theatrical version) 3. H1, H2, H-H20, H Resurrection 4. H1, H 2018, H Kills, H Ends The Halloween series originally meant to be a anthology which is why Halloween 3 is a different story. But when H3 was released they realized people wanted more Michael Myers. Also it’s 2 complete remakes by a director named Rob Zombie who came out with H 2007 and H2 2009.

This and the Friday the 13th remake are my favorites. This film was meta, had actual character development, had us care about other characters too and had a GREAT story and retconned Jason being cremated in part 5. There's a KZbin Series that continues this story and narrative, Never Hike Alone I, Never Hike in the Snow and Never Hike Alone II. Their all free on KZbin. They bring back both the OG actors of Tommy and Rick from this movie, and brings everything to such a great conclusion in Never Hike Alone II and so many great nods to 6 from that. Including the Red Dot joke lol. NHA II came out Halloween Friday the 13th this year and was such a big hit. Tommy is literally my favorite final boy next to Arkin from The Collector. Tommy's a great final boy because he's the only Jason expert in the whole franchise. Never Hike Alone II is alittle over an hour long and is probably the best 'fan film' I've seen and really breaks records because it actually brings back the OG actors and the things they were able to do with the budget were so great and Thom Mathews is still a great actor even in later years. He could be the Dr. Loomis of the Jason franchise at this point :D.

Part 7 had a great concept with the whole Jason vs Carrie aspect but the movie was horrible. Zero chemistry between actors, horrible acting and the MPAA butchered this movie so bad. Pretty much every kill is a cut away. Best looking Jason of all the movies but the movie itself sucked.

J, u said at the beginning, "who would bury Jason?" In the original script, the writer-director introduced the idea that Jason's father had been paying the caretaker to watch over his son's grave. However the studio Executives put the kibosh on that idea because they felt it might take the series into, unforseen territory so to speak; as opposed to the story formula they had been following since the first sequel. Personally I would have loved to have seen that come to pass. I felt this entry really brought the series back on track, and just made it really fun & enjoyable. Unfortunately some of the kills were killed by the ratings board, but nowhere as bad as in part 7. Jason Lives and the Final Chapter remain my two favorite entries in the series to date. Although the Jason zombie makeup design in the next installment remains my favorite "Jason look" to date. J, 2 things, 1 wait till u see Kane Hodder as Jason 7-X. 2 I'm glad u had a ball w/this, and as much as I love Michael, he ain't got 💩 on Voorhees. Been in Camp Voorhees since 1991, age 8💀🤘

as a Jason fan since the age of 7, I'm all for your new found loyalty to the superior slasher. haha, ya michael was the first big slasher but Friday the 13th sparked the 80s low budget movies we all love. Not to mention the Halloween series is a bigger mess with the final few movies before the reboots started which dont actually help much. I like both but of all the Halloween's I enjoy 3 the most and it doesn't have Michael, then part 1 & 2. An interesting movie is Last House on the Left, it was done by the creators of both Freddy and Jason years before either were made.

Michael=Strategic Jason=Indiscriminate both are nearly impossible to stop,and I get Jason’s brutality is more “entertaining” but he doesn’t have a storyline Like Myers does so he can afford to just kill everything moving,Michael is more complex than Jason as a character,but it’s a preference thing with the two of them,some people like The Hulk while some people like Batman.
