I love how these two talk. reminds me of some of the old fellers I met in West Virginia and Kentucky (I know I'll get flack for that -- sorry). they said what they thought and paid no mind to anyone else. they used to say, "if you wanted a sweet talker, go to the city or north. don't stay out here in corn fields. all you'll get is bear ugly truth and an ass whoopin' to go with it".

@@grugg3108These guys you can tell are Southeast Tennessee/western NC. It’s a very smooth accent. Kentucky, WV and north TN has a little bit harsher, more abrupt sound. Depends. If the person died at an old age, celebrate life, but if they were young, it’s tragic no matter how you spin it.
@falrus3 жыл бұрын
In Russia, when someone dies, the friends and family meet 3 times: funeral, 9 and 40 days after death. We don't have fun at funerals, but it's pretty much okay to celebrate the soul getting to heaven at the 40th day.
@maskcollector69492 жыл бұрын
@@baddriversofthenorcalarea500 I think that depends as well, some people are meant to die young if they lived full lives already: like if you're in an extreme sport dying doing what you love doing or whatever, I'm not sure that's so tragic as much as a part of their life. New Orleans funerals celebrate death, I hope more people are like this. I had a great great(x a lot) grandpa who threw a huge banquet for his funeral for a ton of people, it was bigger than any wedding. If a person helps more than harms, death should be celebrated - cause it's only the beginning. I agree it's tragic if someone's life is cut short before they're able to contribute anything, basically only a child would I mourn: but if they were like some 12 year old prodigy who helped already I felt like their life was a success and I'd celebrate it. 20 somethings dying doing what they love isn't tragic to me. Raise your kids to be great at a young age. Helping more than harming is essentially the key to the gates, and it's harder to do that early on in life, but not impossible. The sooner you "turn the wheel" per se, the better. Young children without that chance is definitely a true loss.

To fly fishermen, these streams are known for being fantastic trout waters... Really wish they would have talked about the Barrel and Ageing process in this episode. Feels a like a HUGE missed opportunity considering 60-70% of the flavor and characteristics of a good Whisky comes directly from the Charred Barrel and Ageing process. It can litteraly make or break the batch. Thats why the Whisky was clear once they distilled it instead of its typical brown color. In fact quite a bit of work had to go into the barrel itself they could have talked about but, they never even mentioned for some reason. Seems strange..
