when my cousin was younger, she slept in the same bed as her mom and dad for a night. she woke up in the middle of the night, eyes wide open, stared at the both of them and said “somethings coming” in the most terrifying voice ever. then proceeded to go back to sleep. when her mom told the story i laughed so much because it was so funny.

My daughter had left her verbally abusive partner with their two young children. My older granddaughter was 3 years old. One day I was with them and my granddaughter was playing with a toy doctor kit she had been given for Christmas. She was listening to our hearts with the toy stethoscope. When she she listening to my heart she said "You're ok: then she went and listened to my daughter's heart. We were stunned when she said casually "Your heart is poorly, my daddy breaked it", then she went off to play with something else. My daughter and I just looked at each in stunned silence.

So I have a bilingual family (French and English.) While I was better in English growing up, my sister and brother were better in French. The youngest sister wasn't born till years later. When my sister was 7 or 8, we were cuddling on the armchair in my house. Back then I used to leave a camera on near us to capture raw moments in our everyday lives. I loved having funny home movies to look back on. Everything was 100 percent natural, with no coaching or acting for the camera. I'd just put it on for an hour or so. So we were cuddling on the armchair in the living room, my parents were in the kitchen, and I don't know where my brother was. I can't remember exactly what we were talking about but she randomly said in English "I'm a gangster." I have no idea what she was trying to say or what she thought it meant but I was shocked. The only thing I could think to say was "do you even know what a gangster is?" She just laughed and started talking about something else. I still have most of those home movies including this moment. I still can't help but laugh and wonder if she had even meant to say that or if she had been trying to say something else or had thought it meant something else.

I read lots of old English books as a kid and started adopting some phrases and soon enough vocabulary. High school reading level by 3rd grade. The more I look back the more I think I was a scary kid. Edit: yeah. I developed a sense of mortality by the time I was a year old, and my oldest memory is my first birthday at the petting zoo. Dexterity came at a few months old. I was such a horrifying kid but that’s not as scary as my grandma who literally remembered being born.

My niece was about 4 at the time this happened. She kept running into my arms scared saying, “that man is scaring me”. It was just us downstairs, and she was pointing at nothing. She did it again and I asked her to show me exactly where the man was. She refused because she was so terrified. It happened one more time and that’s when I knew that something evil was scaring her. We are a Christian home and I know god allows evil in to test our faith sometimes. This thing was bringing fear into our house, so I rebuked it, and told it to never return in the name of Jesus. I wasn’t afraid because I know god protects us. My niece never saw the “man” again and continued playing happily 😊.

The sibling coming into my room and killing me in my sleep in a legitimate fear of mine. I sometimes bring up my concerns to my brother and he tells me he won't kill me. I believe he's telling the truth, but one day he might just decide to do it. I do yell at him sometimes when he annoys me. He says that he thinks annoying me is funny and even more funny when I get angry. I probably have anger issues and he knows that. He knows what makes me angry and then makes me angry. Due to that, I believe he may not like me as much as it appears. I'm just a person who probably is worrying for no reason though.

At least some of kids talking about the opposite of alive and even occasionally being the cause of it is a result of them having intrusive thoughts but not knowing how to separate them from their normal thoughts and just saying them out loud like any other thought. Especially the super young ones since they haven't had the time to learn 'think before you speak'.

I hope not🤔 Story 5: This is cute when it comes to the kid using new information, but the new information itself makes it less cute😅 Story 6: In what world would you do that to a baby anyway😭 Story 7: I love how she started asking normally about Paw Patrol after😭 Story 8: When the house explodes? 😳 well, I’m glad the house didn’t explode yet! Story 9: Why do kids see random people in random places like the closet😭 just imagine there actually WAS someone there Story 10: IN THE WALLS? Nope, not today Story 11: Scrape your… eyes? Out of all things? Story 12: Oh??? Dead body?? Story 13: Put my toe in your mouth😭😭 that’s so random, I would definitely laugh Story 14: I would never sleep in the same room as the brother after that- the fact that he actually thought about that before Story 15: Wait but one question- if the mom was the one being too loud, would she be safe since she isn’t a kid? It was probably an urban legend anyway, but still couldn’t help but notice this Story 16: What happened to hello what’s your name😭 Story 17: I would take that as a gut feeling, good on them for staying home!
